Pros: Interior, Handling, Price, Warranty Cons: Un-original styling, Tacky leather. Could use a small 181 horse powered V6(hint hint). The Bottom Line: While not my style, this car offers loads of standard equipment, and adequate performance at a very low price.
Since its introduction in the early 90's as an in-between model of the Excel, (later the accent) and Sonata, the Elantra has been a sales hit. With good looks, low price, and decent powertrains, the Hyundai Elantra was destine for...

Pros: Fun, Functional, Looks Terrific, Value Cons: Mis-matched interior lights, imprecise shifter The Bottom Line: Value and fun are the top selling points in this 5 door compact. Lots of features and super fun handling make the GT a great budget choice.
It’s not easy to find a bargain these days, it seems like everything from milk to movie tickets is costing more and more. The same is true of new cars, it seems like only yesterday when $15,000 bought a well-equipped, mid-sized family sedan; today that...

Pros: Dependable, starts easily at -20, great MPG, over-all good vehicle. Cons: Paint, body metal, plastic headlamp lens, resale value unless your the buyer. The Bottom Line: A great car. Immaculate inside and out. 42,000 miles. Previously owned by an elderly gentleman who maintained it well.
I have driven this vehicle for 6 months and love it. No, I wasn't walking around for the previous 20+ years. I owned trucks. Other than a minor bit of front end vibration @ around 65MPH, a bit noisy especially since I don't use the stereo, (I know ...

Pros: PRICE! Leather, Power Everything,Cargo Space Galore, Build Quality, Safety, Expensive Feel. Cons: Resale value, Lighting in Cargo Area (GT only), nothing else...LOVE THIS CAR! The Bottom Line: DRIVING IS BELIEVING! Take this car out on a spin, and you will be amazed at it's performance & features.
BOTTOM LINE: If you are looking for an incredible car at a fair (dare I say STEAL)price, put this car on your list!!!
I had been looking for a new car for quite some time. Originally, I was intending to purchase a used Volkswagon Passat (aka...

Pros: Price, warranty, overall satisfaction Cons: Headroom (for someone 6'2"), foot well is tight for size 12 shoes. The Bottom Line: The GT hatchback combines versatility, economy, fun, and a plethora of standard features in an affordable and well-rounded package.
What does a "sleek package" mean? What does "loaded with features" mean? Forget all of that for a second because they can mean vastly different things to different people. All I can do is to try to give an objective review, talk about some of my...

Pros: Cheap, good power,4 wheel disc ,and few options needed. Cons: Very little other than needs more hp's to be a true GT The Bottom Line: Bang for the buck it can't be beat in my mind. Under 15k you can't find a better equipped car.
Well lets start out with the fact that I own a 95 accent with 158k miles on it . So Hyundai has made me a believer in them . So I went down and looked at the Elantra to replace it and give the Accent to my son. First let me state that I am not a writer...

Pros: Overall quality craftsmanship, road feel, quiet HWY driving, THE PRICE! Cons: Annoying chimes, finding a GT with the options you do/don't want The Bottom Line: Hands down a better car than even the oft heralded Civic
After spending countless hours on the internet reading for what seemed like months every review a person could ever filter through, I finally went to check out the Elantra. My initial thought upon deciding to purchase a new vehicle was "Go...

I purchased a GLS model of the Elantra. We were shopping for a truck for my hubby and I came home with a new car. Mine is Midnight Gray in color. It is kind of a purle/gray color. My hubby calles it the Barney mobile.

Pros: Pricing, lots of standards, trunk space, head and leg room, Above standard engine Cons: ABS not standard The Bottom Line: Anyone looking for an economy/passenger car should DEFINATELY keep this in mind.
Truthfully, there is nothing I can say bad about this car. I've had mine for 1 1/2 yrs now (lots o' mileage) and it still runs with ease. Only problem I've had so far is a slight movement in one of my tire rods, but that was fixed without a problem. Qu ...

Pros: Safety features, Engine Power, Handling, Stock Radio Cons: Engine/Cabin Noise, No standard ABS, Transmission Shifts, TPS, paint quality The Bottom Line: I recommend this car because Its still running good after 60,000 miles and 3 years of my "abuse/joyriding" Its fairly reliable and provides good power for the price.
I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra GLS which was bought brand new. It currently has 65,875 miles on it and it's still running great. This car was used to alleviate some of the gas costs which my 1995 Suburban were costing me. Overall the gas mileage of ...

Pros: Best value I could find. And I'm cheap. Everything works, and works well. Cons: Crappy mileage. All round discs should work way better than they do. The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a little known head turner with awesome value for money.
Yea, I've owned a ton of them and there's no doubt Hyundai have a cult classic here. Anyone who even knows this car exists will most likely say they like it. It has the good looks of a European sport hatch back with a fraction of the cost and a heap more ...

Pros: reliable, lots of features, great value for the money. Cons: Poor cosmetic workmanship. Multiple cosmetic problems. The Bottom Line: Would definitely recommend the 2002 Elantra to others based on reliability, value, and warranty. However, I would caution potential buyers not to be surprised if cosmetic issues start creeping up.
I purchased my 2002 Elantra new 1 1/2 years ago. It currently has 16,000 miles. I originally bought it for its price, features and warranty. As other reviews have already commented, the 2002 Elantra is a great value for the money. It has similar fea ...

Pros: Safe Features, Style, Standard Features, Warranty Cons: Unproven Reliability, Squeaks and Rattles, Paint Easily Chipped The Bottom Line: Price and features match no other. This car should cost $20k. Test drive one and you will agree. (push those RPMs or the engine will feel a little weak.)
Unlike others on here, I have been driving my car for a few thousand miles so my review may be more helpful.
I researched cars for quite some time before driving off the lot with my new Elantra. No other car out there can match safe features...

Pros: Not enough space here. See review. Cons: Not enough space here. See review. The Bottom Line: If you could use an extra $3000-$7000, buy this car instead of one of the other sports coupes.
PROS: Very affordable; Reasonable power; Well-tuned suspension; Super warranty; Well-equipped with standard features; Huge cargo space; Great styling; (purple gauge!); Alloy wheels; Good tires; 4-doors; Did I mention very affordable?

Pros: Low, low price, lots of interior space, full load of equipment Cons: More interior color choices The Bottom Line: This is an excellent buy on the slightly used market. Look at Hyundai dealers for the best deals, especially if you're looking for a low-mileage example.
When my oldest started high school four years ago, I made my four boys, now aged 18, 16-year-old twins, and 14, a deal: If they kept their grades up, stayed out of trouble and did their best to save for school, I would do my best to buy each of them a ...
