Pros: Extremely low price, excellent warranty, driving position, competent performance Cons: Poor gas mileage, rear seats too low, mushy brakes, latest minivan features not available The Bottom Line: If the basics are what you need, and you want to spend as little as possible, this is your van. Just be aware that fuel economy is poor.
A few months back I set out to drive a Kia Sedona and get a free Shrek video in return for my efforts. The dealer didnt have a van to test drive, but I got my video. Still, I was intrigued, for the same reason that the dealer had none available. For ...

Pros: Excellent Value, Impressive Build Quality, Lots of Features, Warranty Cons: Soft Cornering, ABS not Standard The Bottom Line: If you can find a better new minivan for less money, buy it ! The Sedona is an excellent value.
These days everyone wants a bargain. It’s as American as baseball – we as consumers want more, but we want to pay less. In fact entire companies have been built on just that principle. Payless shoe stores ask “why pay more?” I’ll tell you why, QUALITY...

Pros: Nice ride Cons: Small cargo space The Bottom Line: Hands down a better vehicle than the Windstar. Would recommend it to anyone and have. I love it!
Finally I have been able to shed myself of my lemon of a Windstar. (see review) The paint was peeling for the third time and I told my husband that I was done. I did not want to drive that thing any further. Of course he had other opinions but said we...

Pros: Good styling, nice handling, great features, powerful engine, plenty of room Cons: EX doesn't come with middle bench option, should be rear-wheel drive w/ all-wheel drive option The Bottom Line: It's still to new to have a verdict, but unless there is a major problem, I'd say go get this.
For about six months, I've been scanning the marketplace looking to find a suitable replacement for my aging GMC Jimmy, which was getting expensive to maintain at 148,000 miles.
Because I'm now a father and need to haul stuff around, I looked at...

I recently took a trip to San Francisco for a wedding and we rented a Kia Sedona to haul friends and family around the city for 3 days. I was very impressed with this minivan. We had the LX model (low-end) which comes with a long list of standard...

Pros: Price, features, price, warranty - did I mention price? Cons: Minor refinements needed The Bottom Line: Kia has a definite winner here. If they could make some very minor refinements and different options it would be unbeatable.
After looking at vans, we noticed the outstanding NHTSA crash test ratings on the Kia Sedonas and decided to give one a look. We test drove one and were impressed. I exhaustively researched the Sedonas and became convinced that it was what we were...

I've had my Sedona EX for 6 months and 8000 miles. So far it has been a good experience with a few minor niggles.

We were looking to replace an aging 1988 Nissan Van. I was burned by an American make years ago, but that's another story.
We considered the Honda, Nissan, Toyota and Mazda vans. The Nissan is made in a Ford factory, so that ruled them out....

Pros: Very nice handling, Drives like a car Cons: Not very much head room The Bottom Line: Well the bottom line is that Kia is putting its self up there with other car maker and for there first time they did an excellent job.
Recently I went minivan hunting and of coarse I went to Toyota, Honda, and ford but I also went to Kia. I have to admit I was A little skeptical of buying from a carmaker that’s always cheap and not to mention this being Kia's first minivan for them...

Pros: Very comfortable, quiet ride. Powerful engine. Loaded and $10,000 less that its competitors. Warranty! Cons: Gas Mileage. One remote with the EX. Rear seats folded up need to be tethered. The Bottom Line: Great price. Great warranty. Loaded with extras. Very nice ride. Scores a 9 out of 10 in my opinion.
I love this minivan. We looked at several others; Dodge, Chrystler, Honda, Toyota, etc... We even looked at SUV's which would have been our first choice had price not been a factor. What we found though is that the price difference between a minivan an ...

Pros: Design, safety, wide stance, price Cons: Reliability, gas mileage, dealer service The Bottom Line: Avoid at all costs if warranty is up.
Bought this van used in December 2004. Has lots of miles on it, but seemed like a good runner. Have had to replace all coolant lines and a/c lines. They are hard to get from dealership and expensive! I had my garage fix the vehicle because warranty ...

Pros: Interior quality, value, features, powertrain, reliability, exterior styling Cons: Fuel economy, features, cargo room behind 3rd seat The Bottom Line: Not a class leader, but solid minivan and better than you'd expect. Buyers not bothered by what it lacks (magic 3rd seat, AWD) should consider Sedona. Tremendous value.
Summary Our Sedona is classy and conservative, well-built and reliable, with a solid powertrain, well-appointed and well put-together interior. It has many nice features but lacks some, such as AWD or foldaway 3rd row seat, that may be ...

Pros: All the features, great price. Cons: Short on headroom, gas mileage isn't great, some "cheap" finish items. The Bottom Line: I can't imagine a better value in a full-featured minivan. The warranty really puts it over the top. Come on, Ford, catch up with Kia here.
I have always driven Fords. When I went looking for a minivan, naturally I looked at Windstar first. Then I saw the Sedona. Sorry, Ford, you lost this time.
I wound up buying a Sedona EX with the Homelink, sunroof, leather, and ABS options...

I am a mom with two kids but I also care for a few more kids. Yes, I operate a day home. Some think I'm crazy but it's worth it. My Kia van fits the bill. I recently purchased this 2002 Kia Sedona EX preloved. It was in mint condition. My husband ...
