Pros: Cheap, Sporty, great mileage. Cons: None yet. The Bottom Line: If your on a budget this is a great car.
I bought this 2002 saturn SL1, automatic, air, cd, nothin else 5 days ago. So this is an inital review. This particular saturn had 2100 miles on it so it was discounted a little. My previous car was an 84 lincoln town car, so you can understand my...

Pros: GREAT mileage (40 mpg), easy & fun to drive, NO DOOR DINGS! Cons: Not much power up hills, but with only 100hp I don't expect that. The Bottom Line: if you need a great, safe, care free, dent free 40 mpg commuter car, buy this model. No more worries in parking ramps, or at the gas pumps.
This car was a blessing in disguise. In 2005 I bought a collectible car that I planned on using as a daily driver, but it wasn't something that I wanted to drive in the winter so I started searching for an inexpensive vehicle to drive in Minnesota's ...

Pros: Much better than the last one! Cons: Takes some getting used to The Bottom Line: Buy this car! You'll be thrilled!
After a poor experience with my first Saturn (1999 SL2), I decided it was time to give it one more go. The low interest rates at the beginning of the year lured me in, and boy am I thrilled! I would definitely recommend this car. It has a very...

Pros: Low Cost. Extremely safe to be in. Low maintenance. Great on Gas. Cons: Cheesy Gas/trunk lever placement. Engine needs more get up and go. The Bottom Line: It's reliable. Take care of the car, and it will take care of you.
I am an employee of Saturn -- although let it be known I am NOT a salesmen. I simply do detail jobs on all cars sold, therefore, I have driven all models of Saturns many, many times. Also, I do not own a Saturn.
S-series Pros:
1. Good...

Pros: Fuel Economy/practicality. Looks/feels genuinely sporty.
Steals all of Honda/Toyota's 'thunder', and then some...
Cons: Saturn didn't continue making it!
Sure... cloth interior and rear visibility isn't great. The Bottom Line: 2002 S-Series coupe is THE package deal: affordable, great fuel-efficiency, practical, reliable, nice sporty look and feel. BRING IT BACK, SATURN!
My beater Chevy S10's cylinder head gave-up and I was forced to consider buying another vehicle. Being used to 'average' fuel economy, but with gas prices nearing $4.50 a gallon, I wanted to focus on reliable, affordable cars with 26 city to 36 highway ...

Pros: It looks great, gets great gas mileage and has plenty of leg room. Cons: The rear view mirror is placed REALLY low. The Bottom Line: This is a safe, reliable car that provides a smooth, quiet ride. With 0% financing, why look anywhere else?
We needed a new car. Actually we needed two ~~ a new family car that holds all seven of us and a new smaller car. The reason we keep a smaller car is because we do A LOT of driving and if we were to do it all in the van, we would never be able to pay for...

Pros: Inexpensive, lots of options, great service, great reputation, great safety features, good security. Cons: Leg room is less than expected, and there is only one auxillary outlet. The Bottom Line: If you want a family car then this is it. If you want a sports car, then choose something else.
I ordered a Saturn SL-1 with: air conditioning, upgraded stereo system, convenience package (cruise ...

Pros: Incredible gas mileage, fantastic customer service and support, value!!! Cons: None known The Bottom Line: Saturn Rules!
I recently replaced my 1992 SL with a 2002 SL. I came back to Saturn for many reasons. One is the quality of the car. My 1992 had 204,000 miles on it and was still running like it did the day I got it. All I ever had to do was keep up with routine...

Pros: Fuel efficient, smooth ride, comfortable, affordable and great to drive. Cons: None yet. The Bottom Line: This is a great car, but I bet some cars are even greater. No offense to Saturn. It's affordable, safe, fun, and that's all that matters to me.
I'm not going to bore you with any story. My older car basically died at 92,000 miles from a bad cam shaft. I didn't want to spend money fixing it when I'd already spent over $6,000 trying to get my clunker to run. Bad move on my part.
My...

Pros: Everything! Cons: Firestone tires The Bottom Line: This is my second Saturn. I traded in my 1998 SL1 for the 2002 SC2. As a fleet manager and Saturn owner I highly recommend them.
The 2002 Saturn SC2 is a sporty and attractive vehicle. It has very nice lines and the 3rd door is very convenient. It has a surprisingly spacious trunk for being a coupe. The twin cam engine has nice pick up. Saturn has great color options. I've...

Pros: Nice body style, overall good car Cons: none The Bottom Line: I would definitely purchase another Saturn in the future. This has been a great car so far.
I purchased my 2002 Saturn SC2 in April of this year. After all if you were planning on purchasing a new car within the year who would not want to take advantage of all those 0% financing options. I knew that I wanted a Saturn though, after a year of...

Pros: Fun to Drive, Looks Great, and Nifty Third Door Cons: Few Rattles and Slightly Underpowered The Bottom Line: The 2002 Saturn SC1 is a reliable car that warrants consideration when looking for a subcompact car.
I never would have thought that I would own a Saturn. I have to thank the salesman from the Saturn dealership for calling my mother. He was calling around to see if people were interested in getting a new car. My mother was not interested, but she ...

Pros: Sleek styling, everything works well. Excellent reliability. Saturn service. Cons: Little headroom, fuel economy should be better. More road noise than there should be. The Bottom Line: One of the few American marques that can rival the Japanese in overall reliability. They sell them in Japan, which should tell you something.
Since we owned a 1995 Saturn SC2 with well over 100,000 miles on it that had been to the shop exactly once in eight years of ownership, it was logical that we search the Saturn lot when the time came to get a new car. We found a silver SC2 with a ...

Pros: Plastic Body
Gas Mileage
Solid suspension
Great interior design Cons: Subpar acceleration (it is a compact car after all)
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a car that will withstand the test of time, and looking for better then average quality.
I have owned a SL2 since 11/01. The incentives on this vehicle after 9/11 were very good, and we got this car for under 1% APR for 60mo. The First thing that is great about this car is that throughout the 60mo. term you can expect no dings and ...
