Pros: Performance, safety, reliability Cons: Interior lacking in features, fabric wears easier than other cars. The Bottom Line: Great car, sporty, fun, reliable and safe.
We leased this car for 4 years and then got the 2006 model. The interior is nothing fancy, especially compared to our Honda Civic. Leg room in the back isn't great for an adult, but is adequate for a child. They have improved this slightly and ... read more

Pros: Very hot body, fast, rated one of the best cars in the nation for safety. Cons: It's not the smoothest car in the world but other than that it is flawless. The Bottom Line: Overall I would say that this is the most diverse car that the common man can get without spending hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Two years ago we purchased a 2002 impreza rs. I was looking for something a little more along the lines of a Honda civic or accord; but this car caught my eye. For the price and for the quality there was no way I could pass it up. Thus far it has been ... read more

Hi folks,
I've been the miserable owner of an Impreza WRX wagon for close to six months now and after 15,000 km (I'm in Vancouver, Canada) it has given me nothing but headaches. I must point out that my WRX was a demo with 2000 km on it, ... read more

Pros: Excellent engine, reasonable mileage (for a sporty car), excellent handling (particularly in cold weather) Cons: Rotten transmission, paint seems to scratch very easily. The Bottom Line: Avoid this car - transmission problems are a deal-killer.
I have been driving this car for about 42000 miles now. For the first 30,000 I was pleased as punch. The car was everything I wanted and expected. FWIW, I drive fairly conservatively - I rarely rev the engine above 4000 rpm. I do not race, drive ... read more

Pros: Incredible performance for the money, all-wheel drive and turbo in one. Cons: Looks like a Dodge Neon on steroids. The Bottom Line: Fills a niche that has been lacking in the market, performance along with comfort and cost. One of the best sports cars ever offered and I recommend it highly.
I never set out to test drive a Subaru and certainly not to actually purchase one, but that's precisely what ended up happening. I was out test driving a Mustang when I passed a Subaru dealership and wondered if they offered anything interesting aside ... read more

When it comes to my WRX wagon, there is not a more dependable, fun loving, versatile car that I know in the same price range (even +/- $15k). One day it's my daily driver to work, the next day it takes a group of four to the snow, the next it becomes a ... read more

I've owned a number of nice cars. Prior to this car, I had a Honda S2000. Some time ago, and BMW 3 Series. The WRX is the Japanese reincarnation of my old BMW 3 series and that is a VERY good thing. I spend a lot of time on the highway to not do it ... read more

Pros: Excellent handling in all weather conditions. Comfortable front seats. Cons: Carseat eliminates many ways of making the best of the useable space. The Bottom Line: Although design and handling has made it possible to avoid a freak bookcase accident, the car is not conducive to addition of a baby.
Back in 2001, it was finally time for my husband to go out and pick the exact car he wanted. His dreaming and scheming was done in private, so I was a bit taken aback when I stuck my face in the window of one of the WRX's on the lot and tried to imagine ... read more

Thw WRX seduced me to end my love affair with Toyotas after 20 years. I live in the mountains, needed AWD, and wanted to simplify from having BOTH a regular 4 seat daily driver AND a 2 seat fun machine. The answer was a WRX.
