Pros: Multiple safety features, peppy engine for a four cylinder, comfortable seats
Cons: SUBSTANDARD BRAKES, costly maintenance, terrible gas mileage, unbelievably bad Volvo Service, deplorable resale value

Pros: Reputation for safety, solid build quality, seat comfort, cabin quietness, simple AC controls.
Cons: Doggy 4-cylinder/auto trans, cheap looking Stereo/AC control panel, annoying A-pillar placement, small 15-inch wheels.
The Bottom Line: Sorry, Volvo, but no S40 for me . . .

Pros: VERY Comfortable, Lots of power, Good mileage, Smoooooth as silk, Good Value
Cons: Passenger seat adjustments, Back seat room, Windows don't fully submerge, Stereo, Weakly heated seats.

Pros: Safety, safety, safety, plus sporty good looks.
Cons: Interiors are a bit cramped.

Pros: I love the heated seats. Also looks classy and is very comfortable.
Cons: Back seat is small. Wish I had the trip computer as well.
