Pros: awd, luxury, cheap, comfortable, safe, handles great Cons: requires repairs that might get expensive The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this car if you don't mind couple repairs done on it once in couple of month
About six month ago I bought 2003 Audi A4 Quattro and I liked the car until now. I used to own many cars before the Audi which included 1996 Mitsubishi Diamante, 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 1998 Mercedes Benz C230, 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS, 2000 ... read more

Pros: Looks, style, gadgets, safety equipment Cons: engine layout, vibrations, back seat space The Bottom Line: Worth a serious look, maybe the v6 is better with reliability though?
So as I was moving up in the job world, I got a higher paying job, and decided that I should get a new car. I went car shopping at dover vw, which I have always bought my cars from there, and saw a 2003 beige audi a4 with dark tinted windows. It looked ... read more

Pros: Euro-Luxuary Interior, Electronic vehicle montoring system Cons: Car starts to break down after the warranty, Power, Maintenance Cost, cost of replacement parts. The Bottom Line: If you want to purchase FWD, get VW Passet. more feature that costs $10,000 less.
my03 A4 1.8T FWD currently have 76,000 miles, it was purchased around $31,000. We had to take the vehicle back to the dealer couple times. ignition coil pack caused problems: misfiring, suddenly car turns off and unsteadly idle. When the car was first ... read more

Pros: handling/quattro, engine, classy interior, comfortable seats Cons: ignition key placement, cramped for drivers, tranny shift points The Bottom Line: great small sports sedan, not for 6 footers
the engine is very peppy. you will not be disapointed there; however, whoever programs the shift points needs to be fired. there is a sport mode, but you have to drop it into the standard drive setting b/c for some reason in sport mode 5th gear isn't ... read more

Pros: Gorgeous looking car, great sound system, good gas mileage, comfortable ride. Cons: Unreliable, poor quality, too many defects for such an expensive auto. The Bottom Line: I would like to beleive that the car I leased is just a lemon. However, I wouldn't buy or lease another one.
I leased a beautiful 2003 A4 Cabriolet 2 years ago. I thought it was my dream car. Since that time it has been in the shop for: The driver's side rear window had to be replaced because it would not go down all the way. The automatic trunk release ... read more

Pros: quattro, audio, interior quality. Full size spare. Cons: Cup holders. Armrest. Mirror memory system. Responsiveness. Rear seat space. The Bottom Line: I like it because it has all the features I wanted in a very nice package. However, if Camry or Lexus ES330 had AWD, I would've bought those instead.
I wanted to get a new AWD car to replace my 1997 Camry. If Toyota made Camrys with AWD, I would have bought that, but they don't, so I searched, with my preschool aged kids in tow. Looked at the Subaru Outback V6 VDC. I didn't like the way the door ... read more

Pros: Exterior looks, Interior looks, Comfort, Price.. Cons: Cup holders, cup holders, cup holders! The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this vehicle. It is a great riding, great looking and so far very mechanically sound vehicle!
I have had the car for 6 months now and my only complaint is the cup holders... I am sure Audi could do a much better job on these.. They are the worst I have even seen... I think they rival the cup holders found in a YUGO.. Prior to buying the Audi I ... read more

Pros: Cool car, babes dig it. Cons: Babes aren't impressed when car does not start and brakes squeek.
The Bottom Line: Poor quality and bad service. The first time you hear "hey, that's just like my Passat" it will bring shivers down your spine.
I waited to write a review on my 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro so that I would not be biased by my natural tendency for buyer's remorse. Now that I've had it for 4 months, my opinion is still the same. I have a string of problems some serious, others just annoying ... read more

Pros: Fantastic interior quality and design, generous standard features, German feel, nice handling with sport package. Cons: 220 horses plus 3,700 lbs does not a sport sedan make. The Bottom Line: The excellent looks and interior design of this car prevented it from being rated just average.
I recently drove the 2003 Audi A4 Quattro 3.0 with a silver exterior, black leather interior and Tiptronic Transmission. The car also had the sport and every other available option package. Simply stated, it was as loaded as they come. To begin with, ... read more

Pros: looks great, overall quality car Cons: struggles when loaded The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car. You just need to adjust your driving habits a little.

Pros: better interior than BMW and MERC.Variable service a bonus Cons: cupholder little else The Bottom Line: Quality car - a million times better than any US motor I have driven. Feels like new despite many miles - buy the best one you can afford.
I have had this car for 18 months and travelled almost 30,000 miles. It goes well at 110 mph along German Autobahn, but above this you feel you are pushing it a bit too much. Fuel economy can be almost 40miles per gallon (UK) when driving at 55mph. The ... read more

The Bottom Line: Great car. 4 year 50,000 mileage bumper to bumper. Dealership treats you like a millionaire. I will most likely only buy an Audi from now on.
We got the A4 1.8T Avant (wagon). Right off the bat you know this is no race car. It does okay getting on the freeway and keeping up with traffic but this is a heavy car with a 4 banger turbo and if you think for one second that you're going to go ... read more

Pros: Interior fit/finish. Cons: Turbo lag is extreme... and dangerous. The Bottom Line: Turbo lag is awful.

Pros: Ride quality, power, quattro option, styling, quality workmanship Cons: Transmission shift points, cup holders The Bottom Line: I would recommend the A4 3.0 to anyone looking for a $35000 sport luxury sedan. Dollar for dollar unbeatable.
Bottom line: dollar for dollar, the Audi A4 is hard to beat in its class. For the same price, you can get either a stripped, under-powered 325 with vinyl 'leatherette' seats without power, or you can get a well-equipped A4 3.0.

Pros: Attractive, stylish, sporty, comfortable and lots of eye-appeal. Cons: Engine and wind noise are fairly loud for a luxury sedan. The Bottom Line: It's a great looking, but the time that one will spend at the service station takes away all the joy & happiness that one experiences during the purchase.
The new 2003 A4 body is very attractive and definitely has eye appeal. It's unique design is eye catching to everyone. It only gets better when you enter the vehicle, it's interior lights are in red, which is different. The leather seats are very ... read more

Pros: Built well, lots of neat gadgets, quick and fun to drive. Cons: Cramped cockpit, seats are kind of hard, poor post-sales customer service from Audi. The Bottom Line: Give the Audi A4 a try, especially if you're looking at a BMW 3-series. You can get the power and features of a 330, for the price of a 325.
I recently traded in my Mercury Cougar for an Audi A4 3.0 Quattro, because I wanted a more reliable car that handled well in bad weather. So far, it seems that I've chosen well. While I was comparison-shopping, I also test drove the BMW 325xi and the ... read more
