Pros: Everything! I've had it for a month and have put it through it paces. WOW! Cons: The speedometer is difficult to read in daylight. The trunk lid is difficult to open. The Bottom Line: This car is a true "cross-over" vehicle. It has all the excitement and response of a sports car wrapped in beautiful decadent luxury typical of Cadillac.
All my life I had dreamed of owning a real sports car. You know, 2 seater, fast, eye-catcher (chic magnet), and gently used. I test drove several but in each one I felt cramped and closed in. I don't know what I was expecting, but I didn't find it. ...

Pros: Looks, radio Cons: NO substance. cheap interior, expesive options. Does not feel special. The Bottom Line: If you are a complete label queen buy a Cadillac, otherwise buy a Toyota.
what a sucker. Once again, in Cadillac we see the worst of American spirit and advertising. I really, really, wanted to believe that this was a special car. I went out and bought a 2003 CTS. It has a few upgrades like the wood trim and the larger ...

Pros: *Excellent* handling; head-turner; comfortable seats; fun to drive; good MPG; great sound system Cons: Snow pusher - even among other rear wheel drive vehicles, this one really underperforms.
The Bottom Line: Best Handling in Class
I must admit, I was initially attracted to this vehicle because of its style. It still is a head-turner, two years after purchasing it. However, what I really love about this car is the performance and handling. As far as handling goes, you would be ...

Pros: A great near-luxury package from an American car company. Cons: I'm not crazy about the marginal power from the 3.2 motor in my 2003. The Bottom Line: Very good all-around performance, craftsmanship and luxury in an American sedan that I can afford - what's not to like?
I'm an anti Caddy kind of guy. I've been a car nut all my life, and among the 39 cars I've owned there has been nothing remotely similar to a Caddy. I like crisp performance, true high tech, good handling, and manageable size - all these eliminated the ...

Pros: Cadillac finally seems to be serious about where they want to be in the marketplace. Cons: Engine noise should be worked on. This car should be standard with 17" wheels. The Bottom Line: Great Design, well thought out control console. This car is now a major competitor in the price range of the CTS. Cadillac should be excited about this car.
GM and Cadillac has finally got their act together to compete with the rest of the world. The styling and features for the most part have been well thought out and Cadillac has taken a bold move with their drastic designs of this car. This is my 5th...

Pros: None Cons: Slow, lack luster performance, bad build quality, horrible reliability, and bad dealer service. The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the CTS to anyone but my enemies.
When I first saw the CTS at a car show I said to myself finally, a true sports sedan from the US. So when they became available in my area I immediately went out and took one for a test drive. I thought it was a little slow but the dealer...

Pros: Nice looking design, nice ergonomics. Cons: Beware of the AC leaking into the cabin and flooding the interior. This is common! The Bottom Line: the car is a lemon
My CTS flooded due to the AC draining inside the car.
This seems to be a common problem as I speak to more owners.
The seat tracks rusted, and the wire harness got wet.
The sunroof was replaced, the oil cooler leaked...

Pros: distinctive style and body lines! handling - rims and rubber - gadgets!! Cons: radical style. needs V8!! based on old ideas The Bottom Line: If you are a die hard domestic car buyer, and want something spicy like the new imports. This is well worth a look.
Cadilac is back with an attempt to fight off all those neat new imports (g35, is300, maxima, 3.2CL, 3.5 TL). And they've come a long way!!
Make sure that you get the sport package. or else you might want to consider another vehicle, the...

Pros: Base price, Tons of available options, Overall performance. Cons: A few quality control issues, Engine could do with some more power. The Bottom Line: The CTS is an impressive automobile, and a dramatic improvement over the Catera.
Cadillac launched its assault against European sports sedans long before the CTS (Cadillac Touring Sedan), first with a car named Cimarron that didn't make it through the 1980s, then came the infamous Catera which made its debut in the mid 1990s and...

Pros: Powerful, uniqe stand-out design, great handling and nice interior Cons: Crummy base stereo, bit loud inside, bad rear leg room, really ugly rims The Bottom Line: Other than the truly crummy base sound system I like the car a lot. Bad rims, a few missing touches, poor options packages for price.
Other than the truly crummy base sound system I like the car a lot. The way the options are packaged it was imposible to simply get a better stereo and rear folding seat without getting a bunch of stuff I didn't want to pay for. Almost stopped me from...

Pros: Styling, handling, comfort, acceleration, manual transmission Cons: console styling and materials, tiny glovebox The Bottom Line: After driving it for a few months, you realize the CTS is simply world-class.
Cadillac has finally gotten serious about building an agile "European" sport sedan. And they did a terrific job.
I test drove them all - the Audi A4, BMW 325, Jaguar X-type, Volvo S60, Saab 93, VW Passat, even Lexus and Infiniti. There are...

Pros: handling, styling, service, base price Cons: option pricing The Bottom Line: This is an exciting car, any way you slice it. With it had tinted windows because I've got a permanent goofy smile on my face while driving it.
Wow. I never thought I could love a car this much.
I will always remember the first time I laid eyes on the Evoq concept car--the prototype for the new Sigma architecture at Cadillac. I was living in New York at the time, and I simply...
