Pros: Roomy interior. Solid doors. Big trunk. Firm, supportive seats. Cons: Not enough driving feedback. Redesigned bottoms of fenders contributed to more mishaps with curbs. The Bottom Line: A very good family car. Would most likely not recommend anyone who has previously owned an EX or higher model to downgrade to an LX.
At 38,500 miles, we traded in our Signet Silver 2000 Honda Accord EX-V6 sedan for a 2003 Honda Accord LX sedan in Satin Silver Metallic. If I could have ever foreseen how we eventually ended up disliking this new car, I never would have dragged my ...

Pros: Gas mileage, roomy, sporty, remote window control Cons: Seats get hairy, radio very expensive to replace, only one exterior key hole The Bottom Line: It's a great car for the money. Just keep an extra lint-roller handy.
Now I've never seen 'The Fantastic Four,' but I've named every car I've ever driven and I feel it's bad luck if I don't. Dumb habit. Anyway, as you can guess I have a 2003 Accord LX Coupe, silver with a black interior. Overall, I prefer the styling of ...

Pros: Terrific Engines, Smooth Ride, Impeccable Fit & Finish, Quiet, Good Gas Mileage, Comfortable Seats, Transmissions Cons: Slight Oversteer(V6), Radio quality (FM reception), Standard Tires, Useless Dual Climate System, STYLING The Bottom Line: Once again Honda has set the pace for other companies to follow, and most critics agree the 2003 Accord is THE reference in it's class.
I am now the proud owner of a new 2003 Accord, and I can tell you right away this is without any dou ...

Pros: Just about everything Cons: Nothing I can think of... The Bottom Line: Buy it! You'll love this car!
This is my first Honda automobile (I've owned Honda motorcycles) and I am totally in awe of the engineering on this car. It is SO well thought-out and designed. Little details abound so every day I find another new thing to love about this car. I ...

Pros: Smooth, fantastic long-distance highway car, very comfortable and fast, great gas mileage, reliable...eventually Cons: Rattles, noises, transmission failure, electrical glitches, endless trips to the dealer, poor dealer experience The Bottom Line: I'd probably buy it again...but I should have waited for the next model year. And I'll never use that dealership ever again!
I was going to write a long review of what I thought about this car - but I thought instead that I would simply say that I now love the car, and that most of the problems are now solved. The one niggling problem is that the electric door locks simply ...

Pros: Does almost everything well Cons: But is best at very little The Bottom Line: You can't go wrong with the Accord, but is it right?
I'm sure my mentality will cause a bit of an uproar, and if you are in love with this car, please don't take offense to my review. Being the USA's best seller, I expect most people to disagree with what I am about to say. I test drove the 4cyl version...

Pros: Feels "right," Outstanding powertrain and performance, impressive economy and value, finally has a little soul Cons: Touchy brakes, rear styling The Bottom Line: Stands out in a crowded market segment. Comfortable, eager to be driven hard and very refined
I dropped off my beloved 97 Accord for service at my local Honda dealership and they handed me the keys to a 2003 Accord courtesy car. After having the car for three days and putting about 300 miles on it, I feel that I have gleaned enough information ...

Pros: Fit and finish, clever attention to detail, resale value, reputation, fuel economy Cons: Not as quiet inside as I'd expected.
Minor vibration with cabin fan on. The Bottom Line: About the most sensible choice you can make from any angle. For someone shopping for a new, mid-sized sedan, flip a coin; Heads it's a Honda, Tails it's a Toyota.
This review is perhaps unique in that I am a Canadian reviewer and purchased a used 2003 Accord LXG that is 10 months old and has seen 19000KM (that's 12K miles to you) of the Great White North(tm). The car has apparently held up well to our extremely ...

Pros: Unique style, start and stop response, spacious interior and trunk. Cons: Door locks, headlights not automatic The Bottom Line: Overall, Honda has blended the best of many vehicles into one. Making this car a joy to drive and own.
I've just had my V6 EX Coupe for a few weeks, so I'm still learning the pleasures of owning such a vehicle. I must confess this is the first Honda and first sport coupe I've owned. Going from a luxury American four door sedan to this vehicle wasn't...

Pros: gas mileage, space and storage economy. Cons: panel/glove box noise and rougher ride on local roads in bad shape. The Bottom Line: Nice quality car and decent ride for the money, just a couple of minor annoyances to be resolved.
I got this car in October of '03 and it is my first Honda. Previous car was '01 Pontiac Grand Am SE Sedan. I'm not versed in all the technical aspects and technical language but I'll do my best. Exterior: I'm okay with it. Based on my own ...

Pros: Refined feel, quiet, finally a nice 4cyl. with a 5 speed, better styling vs. 2002 Cons: LX would be better with alloys, all disc ABS and std. side airbags The Bottom Line: Great car in all trim lines - The LX with a 5 speed manual is surprisingly refined and fun to drive for a family type sedan.
I recently traded a Pontiac Grand Prix GT that was out of warranty for a new 2003 Accord LX. My wif ...

Pros: Interior Styling, Acceleration (240Hp), Handling, and Comfort Cons: Standard Wheels/rims, no V6-manual transmission option The Bottom Line: Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It is a good value. I've had the car about 2 months and I'm happy every time I drive it!
I drove 4 other cars before opting for the Accord: V6 Passat, Infiniti G35, V6 Camry, Nissan 350Z. In all cases the Accord was a better value (it could be argued that the 350Z does not really fit into this category).

Pros: Power, response, interior, exterior, features Cons: Noises here and there sometimes The Bottom Line: If you want a powerful, reliable car with inside looks as amazing as the outside, then be sure to check out the 03/04 Accord Coupe!
* Update 1 Year Later! - See At End * The time finally came for me to look at new cars. The majority of the new cars never really appealed to me until I saw the 2003 Accord Coupe in a showroom. "Wow, I'll take one of these please!" - that was the ...

Pros: Outstanding Value. High Overall Quality. High Performance V-6. Cons: No trip computer - only on GPS Navigation option. No steering wheel radio scan button. The Bottom Line: If you purchase this vehicle you will not regret it. It is an outstanding value.
This is the first non-American car (even though the Accord is assembled in Marysville, Ohio) I have ever owned and since I live in the shadows of the Ford, General Motors & Chrysler world headquarters buildings, it was somewhat of a unique decision becaus ...
