Pros: Stable at High Speeds and in Rain, 25 miles per gallon at 80 MPH, Seats Cons: Steering wheel controls disappear at night, pillars block visibility The Bottom Line: A car that you can live with in traffic, haul the kids, and drive like a Porsche to unwind, you can't go wrong.
This is my third Japanese Sport coupe, going first with the Mitsu Starion, to a Subaru SVX, and now ...

Pros: Power, ride, build quality, features, reliability, overall appearance and performance. Cons: No automatic open/close sunroof, tranny sometimes slow to downshift, rear end styling. The Bottom Line: Family transport that is stylish, powerful, well built and fun to drive. 0-60 times in the high 6's is certainly an accomplishment for a 4-door, mid-priced family sedan.
I've been a proud owner of a 2004 Accord EX V6 Sedan for over six months now and could not be more impressed with this car. My previous vehicle was a 2002 Accord EX 4-cylinder sedan with 5-speed manual and I truly loved that car. But, the shortcomings ...

Pros: styling, comfortable seats, responsive steering, smoooooth shifting automatic Cons: door locks, front cup holders, no auto on headlights, truck lid depth, The Bottom Line: Great package with a little annoying features
I bought the Accord a week ago. Traded in a 2000 Camry LE. The Accord is more comfortable and responsive than the Camry.
So far the ride appears a little stiffer than the Camry but that may just be new car break in. The car goes where you...

Pros: Good on Gas, Reliable, Stylish, Practical, Hits the Sweet Spot for Average Person Cons: Not extreme in any way (e.g., Average sound system), but very good in many others The Bottom Line: We are very satisfied with the Accord as it fulfills our needs as a daily commuter. It is a great car with good fuel economy in a stylish package.
We have had this car for a few months over two years. We bought it used from Sherway Acura for $26000 for the 4 cylinder EX model with leather seats. When we bought it, the car had 40 K km on it and now it has 100 K km. We recently replaced the ...

Pros: Larger than earlier models, more features are standard, smoother ride Cons: 4 cyl is just ok, could use a bit more "pick-up" The Bottom Line: I am very happy with this car. You get a lot of car for the money.
This is the third Honda Accord I have owned. My previous model years were a 1986 LX-i (136,000 miles), 1995 EX (still own it at 100,000 miles) and now this 2003 LX.
The interior of the 2003 is the first thing I noticed was finally changed. It...

Pros: Fun to drive, good looks, lots of room Cons: very poor build quality. Terrible brake design. Seat acts as a reverse lint brush! The Bottom Line: Find someone who owns one (at a mall) with at least 30k and a similar driving style and ask them about it. I wish I bought the mazda6 now.
Let me start by saying that I love my accord despite it's many flaws. It is by no means typical of Honda, and I am not sure I will ever buy another after this. This car has a very well laid out interior it is very pleasant to drive and is extremely ...

Pros: Price, fuel economy, comfortable ride Cons: Road noise and front brakes The Bottom Line: Good, safe, reliable transportation (well as long as the brakes get fixed).
I bought a 2003 Honda Accord LX 1 year ago and it just turned 15,000 miles. I have had no medium or major trouble with it but I did get one with the defective front brakes. They have replaced them once at 10,000 miles and I believe they are replacing ...

Pros: Interior, value, looks, power, and smoothness. Cons: mushy handling, paint chips easily. The Bottom Line: The best in its class. Period.
INTRO: I've shopped around for cars that are around 20k and let me tell you the Honda Accord beats them all in terms of pricing, feature content, ease to drive, and comfort. I do not think any car in its class can EVEN compare to its smoothness in ...

Pros: awesome ride, decent power with manual, plenty of room, comfortable Cons: can be a bit pricey The Bottom Line: I strongly recommend this vehicle to someone looking for a practical and stylish vehicle. If fuel economy isn't quite as important to you, pony up for the V6.
While out car shopping recently, I took the opportunity to test drive a 2003 Honda Accord EX Sedan. This Accord came equipped with a 2.4 Liter VTEC 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. It had pretty good power for a four banger, ...

Pros: Interior & exterior fit and finish, 5 speed auto, abundance of features. Cons: Hard leather seats, not enough leg room, noisy tires, poor handling. The Bottom Line: This is a disappointment of a vehicle and I would not recommend it. The quality is not up to Honda standards and the interior ergonomics need significant improvements.
I was so looking forward to this car after driving a Pontiac Grand Prix for over 12 years. All of the reviews praised the quality and features and this was to be a refined car beyond its price range. After test driving it, I was initially impressed when ...

Pros: Engine is bullet proof. Car Fast. Heavy. Handles well. Spacious in the front. Cons: Reliability down. Frequent problems are annoying. Too many cheap parts! Cabin sound. The Bottom Line: Reliability down. Engine excellent but Honda has cut too many corners. Too many small problems that require maintenance. Annoying. Pay the extra $3,000 and get a Lexus or Benz.
Background: This was my first real car purchase. In buying this car I contemplated also purchasing: Lexus IS300 & Benz C230. -Purchased 2003 Honda Accord coupe, V6 EX, through Carsdirect. -Experience okay but customer service lacking. Once ...

Pros: Surprising fast acceleration with the 5 speed manual. Great looks, good handling. Cons: None so far... stay tuned. The Bottom Line: I love the car. Hopefully, the honeymoon won't end.
I just left a very negative review about my 1999 Accord. I am happy to say that I have had the opposite experience with my 2003. In January, 2005, I purchased a used 2003 Accord LX with the 2.4 litre 4 cylinder and a 5 speed manual transmission with ...
