Pros: 4WD; styling; comfort; handling; ride Cons: wheels look small compared to rest of vehicle The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the CR-V to anyone. You will absolutely get the most for the best deal.
I have been researching SUVs for almost a year now; getting ready to trade-in my 1993 Saturn SL2 for something bigger for those family road-trips and also something that will do better on our gravel drive that basically turns to mud and mush when it...

Pros: surprisingly lively handling, versatile and roomy interior, excellent safety ratings, good gas mileage, good value Cons: bare-bones interior accommodations, seats could be more supportive, high demand = low availability, little discount The Bottom Line: Fun to drive - evokes some of the spirit of nimble little Hondas of years past. Combined with great utility and value, makes one fine little SUV.

Pros: Sporty styling, loads of cargo room Cons: Seat comfort, radio volume control, handling, arm rests The Bottom Line: This is a decent car for persons of average height who don't need to worry about seat comfort. Cargo space is very ample, and the ride is good.
We did a great deal of research before giving up our 1987 Nissan Sentra hatchback for a 2003 CRV. Sa ...

Pros: Nimble, great turning radius, silky smooth engine, lots of compartments inside, sits high, effective 4x4 Cons: Very noisy, downshifts to 3rd climbing mild grades, gas mileage, doesn't coast well The Bottom Line: If you don't mind road noise, buy it. It is a Honda, afterall!
We purchased our CR-V used with 50K miles. I read the reviews here before we purchased so had some idea of what we were getting. Here is my impression of the CR-V after driving it for about a month. Noise: Road noise is terrible. The boxiness must ...

Pros: Honda reliable, Honda precision, engineering, and assembly. Tops in its class. Cons: Stick shift ONLY on 4WD models, significant tire noise. The Bottom Line: Perhaps not the best in every category, but close, and its solid showing in every category, combined with traditional Honda quality make this the smart choice in the "cute-ute" class.
I got rid of my 1996 Chevy Impala SS and my 1999 Oldsmobile Alero GLS to buy a 2003 Honda CRV LX on January 3rd, 2003. Not your typical trade ins for a CRV. But I needed 4 doors, reliability, ride, and something I can get in and out of easily (I'm 6'4" ...

Pros: Easy and fun to drive, easy to maintain. Cons: Gas mileage is not as good as a sedan. The Bottom Line: For a small SUV there is a lot of power behind the wheel of this fun to drive and safe Honda.
After ten years, my trusty gold Saturn SL1 was slowly falling apart. Repairs were too frequent and costly. I was tired of sitting so low to the road in this SUV country, so I started my research right here on Epinions to get a feel for small SUVs on ...

Pros: Reliable, drives like a car, gas mileage, safety, it's a Honda!! *Resale Value* Cons: Would look better with bigger wheels, lack of variety for selection at dealer The Bottom Line: Highly recommended due to reliablity, safety, bang for your buck, great young family car.
We were on a tight budget when we started researching to buy our second car. We had never had a new car before but with the bills from used car repairs piling up we decided the extra monthly payment of a new car would be worth it. We had narrowed our ...

Pros: The CRV is comfortable, reasonably priced, has adequate pick up, and is very dependable. Cons: Very few cons exist. Compared to the Civic, the mileage is not as good. The Bottom Line: The Honda CRV is reasonably priced. It is an everyday driver for both city and highway.
Oh yeah! I came back to the Honda CRV. My wife and I originally owned both a 1997 and 2000 model CRV. CRV stands for comfortable runabout vehicle. Well, that is definitely true. We traded our last CRV in for a 4-door 1997 Honda Civic. The Civic got ...

Pros: Very reliable, lots of safety features, 4WD, great stereo system, tons of storage space!! Cons: CR-Vs are very popular and sell quickly, so don't expect much of a price break. The Bottom Line: VERY reliable! CR-V is a great car that's not huge, but has all the space necessary. Lots of storage room, lots of great features come standard. Perfect family car!
I bought my CR-V in October 2003. I desperately needed a step-up from my Chevy Cavalier, which was barely accommodating the room I needed, much less the room that my baby needed. I have always been the driver of a small car, and I was very anti-SUV. I ...

Pros: Pretty much everything (see above, "What I love...") Cons: UMMM...some really minor tidbits (see above, "What I don't love..." The Bottom Line: Best vehicle I've ever driven. Excellent value for the money. I want another Honda in our family, maybe the Odyssey for even more space.
I love Honda. Really. I've had lots of cars to date and cannot believe how reliable these little spunkers are. I had a Firebird, a Hyundai, and a Caravan...those made me want to turn in my license and take the bus. I had a 2000 CRV LX that was very ...

Pros: Great car very comfy and looks nice to. Cons: Can't think of anything to put here!! The Bottom Line: Great ride very comfy and it is a joy to drive or even better lie and relax in the back.
We got this car in May 2005 from the Honda dealer in our city and it is a great car. It has 4-wheel drive and it very comfortable. We have driven in it for 9 hours (we did get out every now and again) but it is very comfy in the back seat as they can ...
