Pros: A re-definition of driving fun and the satisfaction of helping the common good. Cons: Just OK stereo and A/C. Price premium. The Bottom Line: If you are at all tempted after reading about it, buy it. You won't be sorry.
Read bobhilt's review- it is excellent and informative. I just picked up a 5 speed hybrid and am very pleased with it. I did not research this car- it was an almost-impulse buy. We researched a lot of other less expensive cars for a new car for my wife...

Pros: Lots of standard equipment, easy to be green Cons: Rear seats don't fold down, arm rest is too low The Bottom Line: Honda has made it easy to be green, but comfortably. This is one excellent automobile!
The goals that Honda set for this car have definitely been met. The only negative I have experience ...

Pros: Comfortable quiet ride with 42-50 Miles per gallon! Cons: Cannot think of anything! The Bottom Line: I am thrilled, as I drive longer distances frequently.
Now, You must understand that I am thrilled with this car! I have put 3000 miles on it and still haven't gotten to the first car payment! It is easy with this ease in driving and MPG to go ahead and say "let's go" as the gasoline cost is pretty...

Pros: Great Fuel Economy & love the instrument panel!!!! Cons: Fold down armrest is too low and to short for comfort. MPG less than advert. The Bottom Line: This is the car of the future! Great fuel economy,
green, and family sized!
Our first experience with both a small car,
and a non-Big 3 automobile. It's working
out great. We commute 90 miles daily through
both rural and city traffic. Our Honda is
quiet, smooth running, and holds it's own
expressway...

Pros: It's a Honda, 48 mpg in town:-) Cons: The price is high. The Bottom Line: Buy this car, now. I'm waiting. Go.
Okay, so maybe you won't save the planet, but you are definitly slowing the damage. For those of you who are not aware, the Civic Hybrid is a gasoline/electric car which gets 48 mpg (miles per gallon) in town (higher for the standard). That's right IN...

Pros: Excellent Fuel Economy, quietness and ride Cons: Glare on display, unimpressive radio. The Bottom Line: An excellent overall car. Toyota needs to look at this styling and upgrade that ugly Prius........
I purchased my 2003 Honda Hybrid for $18600.00, which is about $1000.00 over dealer invoice (approx. dealer mark-up 5%, so not too bad).
I love practically everything about this car. I especially like the heat reflective glass, which helps...

Pros: Great gas mileage, low maintenance costs Cons: Somewhat small The Bottom Line: Cannot say enough about the reliability. Very practical, very reliable. A great first car.
I purchased my used 2003 Civic w/ 28,000 miles on it from a local dealership. I was a little wary about purchasing a used car from a private individual, and the dealer provided me with a warranty at no cost, so I felt reassured. I also had m mechanic ...

Pros: Gas mileage, clever/refined design, feels like a regular car, very nice on freeway. Cons: Road noise, small arm rest, radio reception. The Bottom Line: If you care about gas mileage, this is a great choice. If you think this is some sort of great sacrifice, it's not. It's barely even a compromise.
My previous car was an 2000 Audi A6 2.7T, 250 Hp twin turbo, 0-60 in 6.0 seconds. Before that was 1998 Passat 1.8T. Before that a 1997 VW Jetta VR6. Before that was a 1988 Acura Integra. I loved the Acura and I have been searching in vain for ...

Pros: Hybrid technology, clean and quiet ride Cons: Low mass-market appeal or head turning quotient, few trim choices The Bottom Line: All anyone needs for urban commutes. Think of all the gas you'll save if you only drive your Porsche on weekends.
First of all, there is no reason that 40% of the cars on the road couldn't be built like this. Blame OPEC and the hopelessly apathetic alternative-fuel vehicle divisions of the domestic auto makers. I'm no tree hugger, but for daily driving, anything...

Pros: Refined feel, drives much like a conventional car Cons: Slow, low handling limits, must adapt driving style to fully benefit The Bottom Line: A much better car than the Prius, the Civic Hybrid makes me wonder why Toyota went through so much trouble.
Purely electric cars have not worked. They must be recharged too often, and recharging takes too long. The battery packs are so large and heavy that they severely harm the performance and functionality of the vehicle. For these reasons, auto makers ...

Pros: Great mileage, better looking than Prius or Insight, and more peppy than you'd think. Cons: Bad on snow and ice, limited options. The Bottom Line: With my new snow tires, I love this car. I love this technology. I'm not going back to gas-only again, if I can help it.
I love my '03 Civic Hybrid. I've had it for 2 1/2 years, and I'm looking forward to several more years behind the wheel. I bought this car because I'm a pragmatic environmentalist. I believe that green technologies will only be developed as the market ...

I was searching for a decent used car to replace my tired '97 Ford Ranger, the Ranger could have kept going for many years to come but we do want a family sometime soon. So, my search led me to a 2003 Honda Civic LX coupe, very basic, with low miles. ...
