The Bottom Line:

Hope to pass it on to the kids!

The 2003 S2000 was the last year for the original, high revving 2.0l engine.   It had a glass rear window and a clock (on the radio)- improvements from the original models.Subsequent years received a 2.2 l engine, suspension, wheel and ... read more

Well I was a proud owner of a Suzuka Blue 2003 S2000. The car is one of the best handling car i've ever drivin(on dry pavement the wet is a different story). Well to start off I'm about 5ft9in and fit very comfortable in the car. Overall the car keeps ... read more

My 2nd S2000: still loving it

by jacques79
Apr 23, 2006 - Updated Nov 19, 2006 (A Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Seat comfort, shifter-steering feel, acceleration, reliability, usable in Montreal winter with winter tires.
Cons: Can't think of any besides obvious lack of back seats...
The Bottom Line: As sports cars keep getting fatter and less connected to the road, the S2000 remains in an ever shrinking category of pure sports cars.

Well I managed to gather enough money to buy another S2000 after trading that one for a Type R cash. I went to a big dealer in Montreal, saw a nice 2003 Suzuka Blue S2000 and it was a done deal. The sound of the engine with the airbox cover lid ... read more

Everytime I drive my black S2000 I love it. It handles better than any car I have ever driven. I love to cruise with the top down it is so relaxing and enjoyable. It is a powerful machine. The car is a bargain. It cost 10k less then a base boxter yet it ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: POWER, HANDLING, STYLING, SHORT GEAR THROW, 9000 RPM, PRICE!!! F-1 TACHOMETER. S2000 Community!
Cons: No electronic unlock for passenger door from inside. Stereo.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for convenience, practicality, amenities, and a sound system... don't get this car... However, if you are looking for raw performance, handling & dependability... look no further.

Never knew what i was getting myself into when i bought this car. I never knew it would be so much fun! This sports car is nothing short of breathtaking. The first night i brought it home it was raining like crazy so i quickly found out that this ... read more

Absolute joy, brings smile w/ each drive

Dec 3, 2003 - Updated Dec 4, 2003 (A Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Beautiful lines, great handling feedback, joy to shift, feels crazy fast, comfy seats.
Cons: Insurance, thin paint and body panels, poor radio. All minor.
The Bottom Line: The definitive sports car. Just happens to be reliable and affordable.

Getting this car is the most self-indulgent thing I've ever done. Even if I had the money for super exotics, an S2000 would always be in my garage. A drive brings a smile every time, and a good drive relieves the stresses of any bad day. If you enjoy ... read more

after 3 months of ownership...

Oct 3, 2003 - Updated May 8, 2005 (A Very Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: For the price, this about the most perfect 2-seat roadster on the market today
Cons: Paint is easily scratched. Supreme Unleaded fuel costs really add up after a while.
The Bottom Line: Ask yourself if you're ready for the grins-- and responsibilities-- of owning a 2-seat roadster. If you are, the Honda S2000 is Your Car.

I'm going to follow my tradition of not re-hashing common, publicly available information, stats, #s, etc. and rather give you my perspective as an owner; the gripes, the grins, and grey areas. That said, onward with the review of my 2003 Honda S2000, ... read more

Pros: Great Sports Car (if you like sports cars)
Cons: "Bad Sports Car" (if you don't like sports cars)
The Bottom Line: A well balanced machine on the path of leaving a legendary mark in the automotive industry

After reading a few certain reviews concerning the 2003 Honda S2000, I was shocked to notice the poor ratings given to such a revolutionary car. So, as a great admirer and proud owner of a 2003 Sebring Silver Metallic S2000,I would say that this car is ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 10 Recommended: No

Pros: Japanese build quality
Cons: Poor value, narrow powerband, sloppy in the wet
The Bottom Line: If you have the money, go for a Lexus Sports or a Merc.

I recently bought a Honda S2000 after having "traded up" from my cherished MX5. I can honestly say i ... read more

Pros: Looks, Speed, Price, EVERYTHING!!
Cons: Not a One
The Bottom Line: Buy it, Buy it now! 2003 is the last production year until honda comes out with their new sports car in 2005!

First thing we need to get straitened out, I own a 2003 Honda S2000. Don't even waste your time reading these goofball reviews that these people write that have only test driven the car. They do not have a clue what they are talking about. I'm an ... read more

Cons: louder radio, better cup holder, analog gauges please!
I picked up an '03 Suzuka Blue in May of 2003. I compared it to the Toyota Spyder and Miata and Audi TT, even the Z4. Best bang for your buck for sure! Lots of fun to drive, a true
