Pros: Predictable, even-tempered driving; powerful engine; low road noise. Cons: Cramped, claustrophobic feeling. Design annoyances in view and seating that were tough to overcome. The Bottom Line: Although it worked reliably for 2000 miles, the seating and interior design detracted from an otherwise competent experience. Plus, GM's predicted reliability is not good.
It may be indicative that the beagle hit the "Escape" key on my keyboard and erased six paragraphs of my review on this car. Unlike my review, I would not do this car all over again. I rented this car to drive with my wife from Michigan to Florida ... read more

Pros: Engine works well, stereo system is good, body style is nice, but cookie cutter Cons: Cramped, silly storage space and evil gas cap. US version 3yr/36K mile warranty stinks The Bottom Line: There are other cars in this genre that are much better--and less expensive...the Plymouth Neon was roomier!
I've been playing queen of the loaners this last month or so...my Aztek is critically ill(and when we find out what its ill with, I'll report on that also) and the dealership has been supplying me with epinion resources...ok, I've been getting loaners, ... read more

Pros: Sporty reliable car at a good price which is great in winter too. Cons: Fighting over who gets to drive. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car because it's a lot of fun to drive and handles well even in winter and has been reliable and at an affordable price.
When my husband and I went to look for a new car at the end of 2002 we were fairly certain we were going to buy a chrysler. Either a PT cruiser or a sebring. Preferably a convertible. Since we have only ever bought one brand new car before and owned ... read more

I have just purchased a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT, so I have only had it for a short while, but I think I can give an honest opinion on the car.
The car retails for about $22,600. Currently, GM is offering $3000 cash back on the Grand Am or 0% ... read more

Bought Grand am GT new in August 2003. 4 years later and 106,000 miles. That's right 106,000 miles. The car is as dependable and fun to drive as it was when I bought it. Only maintenance required was oil change, tires, and brakes until last month. I ... read more

Pros: Striking looks, great handling, smooth, quick, comfortable, great visibility. Cons: Slightly cramped in back, not best side view mirror mechanism. The Bottom Line: All in all I would say this car is great. I turn heads every day and love every moment of it.
Before I start to praise and rant about my most favorite car in the world, I would like to mention that I am a compulsive perfectionist. I have not been on earth for too long, but have had two American cars before I acquired my Grand AM. Both previous ... read more

Just picked up a 2003 Grand Am GT a couple months back, and its awsome all-round. No problems so far, good acceleration, tight turning-radius...and the Monsoon sound system is great (for stock anyways). Gas milage is pretty good, and there are plenty of ... read more
