Pros: tons and tons of room, great engine, majority of the car works great Cons: what does go wrong is $$$$ or is very annoying The Bottom Line: I love my car despite the problems and would stand behind it, but do find it hard to suggest it over a mazda3 or other such estate cars
-I bought this car for college since i needed more room to move in and out, I also bike and ski and need the room to transport my equipment. I bought the car in 2005 with 18,000 miles.I now have 65,000 miles on it, I have had constant problems with the ... read more

We have a 2003 Vibe and are very pleased with it: Features: 1) all-wheel-drive: This has got to be the most stable vehicle I've ever driven in heavy snow. I've driven much heavier front-wheel drives, rear-wheel drives, and even 4wd vehicles in the ... read more

Pros: Great space, excellent gas mileage, rack capability. Cons: Ride, visibility--but not enough to worry about. The Bottom Line: Every vehicle is a compromise. This vehicle is my ultimate compromise. I wish I could buy two and store one for when the first wears out. Buy it!
If you're on this page, you're already at a place where the dimensions, color options, specifications, and features of this car are well described. I have set out to give you a summary of this car which is now 1) Three years old; 2) Purchased used; 3) ... read more

Pros: comfy seats, nice look, few blind spots for shorter people Cons: noisy, problems with rear end of car, poor service The Bottom Line: I don't recommend the Vibe. Based on numerous reviews, conversations, and my own problems with the car, it is noisy, handles poorly, and is poorly made. Read my review.
I started leasing my Vibe in 2003. I loved it. The seats were very comfortable, it had a nice interior, it was very sporty for a hatch, and for someone only 5'5", I had few blind spots. I was told that the poor gas mileage would improve as the engine ... read more

Pros: Cost, mileage, interior volume, value for money Cons: Haven't found any after 2 and a half years. The Bottom Line: What a great little car. We love it. Ultra reliable and comfortable, great on mileage and has lots of room. If you want to drag race look elsewhere.
If you need a fuel efficient, comfy, relatively spacious mini-SUV, this car is for you. We have the base model with the 5-speed. I added the side airbags and ABS for safety. We currently have about 33000 miles on it and haven't had a single ... read more

Pros: AWD is good. Good MPG. Decent interior space. Good car for price. Cons: Radio volume should have smaller increments. Interior scratches easily. The Bottom Line: If you want a newer yet affordable AWD car this (or the matrix) is the way to go.
I've had the 2003 Pontiac Vibe with AWD (I live in Ohio) since February 2005. It has given me no major troubles. The interior does scratch easy and the engine is no Nascar, but it's not supposed to be. I think the only thing I really dislike is ... read more

Pros: Zippy, great cargo capacity, very reliable! Comfy for those long road trips. Cons: None! Perfect for me! The Bottom Line: Good for on-the-move people who need to cargo carry occasionally. Zippy enough for Atlanta/Los Angeles/DC/NYC traffic even loaded with people and gear. GREAT ROAD TRIP CAR!
I was given the 2003 Pontiac Vibe Base Automatic Model as a college graduation gift. It's two tone silver with the plastic moldings. It has the power package with moon roof and upgraded sound system. LOVE IT! I'm a yuppie. Young Urban ... read more

Pros: Handles very well (AWD), perfect size, good gas mileage. Definitely recommend it! Cons: "Standard" tires; paint; not much power; "minor" problems The Bottom Line: I would recommend this vehicle to my friends. The problems I have had with mine are things I consider to be minor. Hopefully, that will continue once warranty is passed.
I purchased my 2003 in September 2002. My children had seen a preview car at the XGames in 2001 and told me "We have found the perfect car for you!" I have the AWD version since I live in WV, with moon & tunes package, and found it to be ideal for my ... read more

Look no further because the Vibe has all that and more.

Pros: Good Gas Mileage, Comfortable, A Reliable Toyota Motor in a Pontiac Skin. Cons: Paint Needs some added durability, Rear cargo cover looks cheap-at times a hassle The Bottom Line: Good value for money. Good gas mileage, more cargo room than in a sedan. Very comfortable on all journeys.
We have had our vibe for a month now, and have had the opportunity to log a thousand miles in it. I did the research on the vehicle before purchasing it, and most people liked it, with a few disliking the "Engine Noise" and lack of "pep" in the 130HP ... read more

Bought Vibe GT in Oct 2002. In Sept after 25,000 miles the clutch went out and the entire assembly had to replaced. Pontiac would not and did not cover it. Cost $986.00. The clutch plate is TINY, no wonder it wore out. The body is like plastic and ... read more
