Pros: Perfect for families of 4 and under; excellent 4WD; drives great in rural terrain. Cons: Cruise Control uphill; gas mileage on highways/interstates. The Bottom Line: Great for families of 4 who are looking for a 'car plus'.

Pros: Low, torquey gearing. Not much else Cons: Swerves without warning, not much space, poor mileage, tippy in hard cornering, seats hurt. The Bottom Line: Please, buy a sedan or wagon instead. It will be better in every aspect.

Pros: Affordable, comfortable, safer, love the style, 7 speaker stereo system with subwoofer. Cons: Haven't found any. The Bottom Line: I am very impressed with the 2003 Grand Vitara. They have improved the safety on them and when you drive it, it handles just like a car.
