Pros: Beautiful, safe, comfortable, full of extra's Cons: NONE The Bottom Line: They drive like a dream. Have all the extra's most people look for.
Their safety is wonderful.
The body of the expeditions always look so good. I love the color choices ford offers and the structure itself is wonderful. I have had 3 expeditions and will continue to buy them. They have the front and side impact airbags for added safety. And ...

Pros: Flexibility, Roominess, Apperance and comfort Cons: WAY too many problems, good features with annoying habits The Bottom Line: Ford has not lived up to realiability name. So stay away from vehicle if needing some realiable with little problems.
This is the second Expedition i have owned. My first was a 2003. I was in need of a big suv , and could not find anything at the dealerships in my area that suited. So i was driving to work and saw a black Expedition with black bumpers, and a chrome ...

Pros: Comfort, performance in snow, lots of room. Cons: eats brakes and tires. The Bottom Line: Overall a great vehicle. I'd repurchase but make sure to get the extended warranty.
I bought my Expedition used from a Ford Dealer. I have 3 teen agers, a wife and 2 large Rottweillers. All fit fine with no crowding...except when the Rotts want to roam. I purchased the Eddie Bauer version. all leather, captains chairs, Advance track ...

Pros: comfortable, SAFE, never have had a problem. Have owned 3 Expeditions now. Cons: Nothing to keep me from buying another one.
This is a great car. I was involved in a terrible car accident and it saved my life. I was in a terrible car accident. where I was broadsided, rolled the car 3 times. My daughter and I came out with barely a scratch. Of course we had our seatbelts on. The car was destroyed but the entire passenger compartment was intact structurally. Every window was broken out, the wheels knocked off, and a few other bad things but we were safe. We were so impressed with the protection it offered us. My husband was so thankful!

Pros: Comfortable car, powerful, rides nice, feels solid, felt extremely safe for my family of five. Cons: Too many problems , poor gas mileage, not worth the aggravation.
This was my first new car bought for me (as opposed to my wife who always had new cars and I had her left overs). It was the most expensive vehicle i bought yet it gave me the most problems. The sun roof leaks, and there was an electrical problem that took ford 7 visits to figure out (my battery would drain and leave me stranded). Additionally, the front hubs went at 31,000 miles, and i needed new tires because of it. Ford covered the hubs but I had to pay for the new tires. Also, the wheel sensors also went, and rear windshield wiper motor. Although the warranty cover most of the repairs, I was always inconvenienced. In short, I had the car at the shop approximately 12 times for repairs. This was the second Ford I owned, and the second problem car I owned. I had a 1997 Taurus that blew its engine at 106,000 miles even though the car was well maintained.

Pros: Large and comfortable Cons: Radio beeps when on continuously, seatbelt locked up.
I leased the 2004 Expedition and overall I do feel like it is a comfortable ride. The problem I have is that the radio makes a constant beep noise when it is on. If I turn off the radio the noise stops and then when I turn it back on, it resumes a few minutes later. Also, just yesterday I went to put my child in the back seat and the seatbelt on the passenger side in the second row is locked and won't pull out. I had to put her in the middle seat. I will be calling the Ford Dealer today to get this fixed and ask about the radio beep.
My family has enjoyed making long road trips in it because of its size and comfort, however the gas mileage is terrible-I guess we knew what we were getting ourselves into when getting such a big SUV. I don't think I will get another one after my lease is up next year. I haven't used the 3rd row seat enough to justify having it. After seeing all this coverage on global warming, I feel kind of guilty owning it!

Pros: Big Cons: Maintenance nightmare
My well maintained Ford Expedition with 48,000 highway miles requires major Transmission work already! Ford told me the financial burden of this premature rebuild is my problem. UNBELIEVABLE.
