Author's Product Rating: 20 Recommended: No
Pros: handling (sporty feel), gas mileage, flexible interior room, good looks and maneuverability Cons: RELIABILITY, interior noise, exterior paint, lack of power The Bottom Line: Because of reliability and new from factory defects, only purchase certified used with low mileage and an excellent service record.
Well, this car has many surprises...good and bad! To begin, let's start with the good. We've owned this car since we bought it new in the fall of '04 and have driven it 20,000 + miles on the highway and in the city. The handling (sporty feel), gas ... read more

Pros: Styling, options, comfort & versatility Cons: Gas mileage, road noise & constant highway shifting The Bottom Line: Recommend - but make sure you know what you are getting.
We bought the Vibe in 2005 with 24K on it. Sold off a '96 Saturn SL2 for it - to get something bigger. The gas mileage is definitely NOT what was advertised. The Saturn was a dependable 25 mpg (town) / 40 mpg (highway). Every Vibe review had this car ... read more

Pros: Roomy for passengers, adjustable driver seat, sporty, roof rack, comfortable seating for it's class Cons: Tire wear, heater problems, dashboard light problems, somewhat small cargo space if car is full The Bottom Line: If you are going to compare it to a luxury car, you probably aren't going to be happy with it, but within it's class, it's definitely competitive.
I've just had a problem with my Vibe and wanted to see if others were experiencing the same thing. I found this website and have been reading the reviews for 2003 and 2004 Vibes and decided to put one in. The Vibe is my 3rd car and I am quite happy with ... read more

Pros: Great gas mileage, huge interior, handles great
Cons: cheap interior compartments, sometimes leaky, and wierd arrangement of the speedometer.
I love my car even though I felt pressured into buying it brand new. Gets good gas mileage (about 32 mpg) I also wish it was white, but for some reason no one could find me a white one. I have over 70,000 miles on it now and only a few minor problems (so

Pros: Cost efficient, good on MPG. Cons: Unable to turn headlights off in the dark.
We bought our Vibe brand new in November 2003 and still love it. I love to go garage saling, and I can lay down the seats and it will hold all of my great buys!! Lots of leg room. Even my 6'2" husband thinks there is plenty of room.

I'm happy with my Vibe. After living a nightmare with a 2000 Grand Am, i found a nice small reliable car from Pontiac. The style is great inside and out. The fold down back seats are a super feature. The ride is surprisingly smooth on highway and the

I love my 6 speed Vibe GT! I purchased my Vibe GT 1-1/2 months ago w/16,200 miles on it. It is sporty, roomy, love the cargo area and fold down seats including the front seat! The moons/tunes package is worth it. I am averaging 29 mpg in the city.
