Pros: it works Cons: too limited
Years ago, when eFax first started, I signed up and was assigned a free number... which I've happily used as my primary fax number ever since. I get one or two real faxes a month, never think about it, read the emails eFax sends. Good deal, I thought. ...

Pros: none Cons: efax is not honest.
I canceled my efax account in March, 2008. I was told that I would be getting a credit of $33.90 toward my Credit Card since I had wanted the account canceled prior to this. I was also told that I was going to get two free months complimentary service ...

Pros: None at all Cons: No way to contact anyone in customer service.
To put it short, this service is like the mafia. Once you get in, you can't get out! You can send numerous requests for cancellations of the service, but no one will EVER respond. There may also be a possibility that this company is selling your fax...

Pros: Since my problem has not been solved, I cannot say that there are any pros. Cons: Terrible customer service. Reps who do not speak english. free trial was misleading
I signed up with Efax in order to do a very important transaction. I signed up for efax plus and entered my credit card information. My credit card was quickly charged. When my realtor tried to use the fax number provided, she was informed that no ...

Pros: None!!!! Cons: Everything I explained above! Dishonest Scam!! That sums it up!
I signed up for the supposedly free 3 month trial of efax. I researched many online fax services, and this one seemed totally legit. The 3 month trial is a complete lie! Don't be suckered in. They charged me for 3 months and credited back only 2 of ...

Pros: Was the original e-mail based fax service and thus has a huge head start Cons: Has not been competitive for a long time and MyFax has filled in the gap.
I started using eFax in the mid-nineties (don't exactly remember when) when I did international travel as a budding entrepreneur and thought eFax was God-sent. I was a one-person business and could receive faxes dependably where ever I was in the world. ...

Pros: It works. Cons: Hard to cancel service, requires a middleman to cancel, cannot cancel by yourself. Ridiculous!
I easily got eFax to start on my Macintosh. But when it came to cancel it was more difficult. I've never had a hard time cancelling any service BY MYSELF on the web. The only way to find out how to cancel is use their search engine to find "cancel". It ...

Pros: Technical issues were once bearable for the price. Cons: Company raising shareholder value by abandoning reason.
Have been a paying E-fax/J-fax/J2 customer for many years. Receive lots of faxed pages. I was cool when my monthly average total went up to $40 per month or so some time back; now apparently with the usage basis price increase they've been phasing ...

Pros: good for receiving, had no probs with software Cons: customer service sucks, sending not exactly convenient
I had efax for a couple of months and it worked great for my purposes of receiving. Cancelling was a huge hassel - it was like trying to tell a 2 year old no. The first time I tried to cancel I got so fed up and out of time (well over a 20 min. chat)that ...

Pros: Great...when it works Cons: Often doesn't work.
This service is very handy when it works, though the price for their premium service just doubled to $9.95 per month, which seems excessive. There's a big problem with the service, however. The eFax service in my area (Tacoma, Washington) often doesn't...

Pros: Convenient Cons: Charges are not made clear up front
The main page boasts a "free trial" period, but you must read all of the fine print. There is a charge to send faxes. The download is fairly fast and easy. The actual product takes some reading and getting to know. It is not a self explanatory product ...

Pros: It worked when I used it Cons: I couldn't cancel and they have some trick to keep you.
I had the exact same experience just now. But my experience was slightly different in that I did accept the 2 month deal and stay with them for free. That is what I thought. I noticed that they were still getting my 12.95 a month for the last two months. ...

Pros: I cannot think of anything beneficial about this company. Cons: See above!
They are complete idiots. They never answer questions, you have to call a toll number to get them. look at the chat the moron attempted to engage in when I tried to cancel my account after I ported my number out! They will try to tell you that you ...
