FedEx truth
by mjvicens ,Mar 15 '08
Pros: None, none whatsoever. Cons: Terrible drivers, awful customer service, and when they make a mistake don't expect reimbursement.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. I'm really not sure where Fedex finds its drivers, but I am that they can't correctly deliver a package to save their lives. I give everyone at least one second chance, but these guys have burned me twice! Not only did they not deliver my package, but they denied my claim when I told them they delivered to the wrong house.
Since then I've only gone with UPS or the USPS and they haven't made a mistake yet.

bigger is not better
by thevidiot ,Oct 13 '08
Pros: none Cons: They're too big to function properly, much like our government and our economic system.
I had a VERY IMPORTANT package that HAD to be in Israel on Sunday, AM. I got to them on Friday here in NYC. What happened? Well, it first went to Newark, NJ. Then, it decided to take a side trip to Memphis, TN (I guess it wanted BBQ) and then, I guess it decided it felt like a quickie vacation in Paris for the long Jewish holiday, so it will be arriving there tonight, Monday. Now, since Israel is closed until Wednesday, it will have to spend a few days sipping wine and eating French pastries. Had I know that was the route it would take, I'd of taken it myself! Ever since FedEx became "Fedex Kinkos" their service has tanked. "When it absolutely, positively has to be there" my a$$.

Boycott FedEX
by linenoise12 ,May 01 '09
Pros: They spent a ton of money on their logo. Cons: Customer Service, Drivers and everything that has to do with it.
FedEX couldn't deliver to the White House. I was suppose to have a package delivered to my office, FedEX said it didn't exist and they changed the address to a completely different town and DELIVERED THE PACKAGE. I called FedEX, they said there's nothing they can do because my address didn't exist and the shipper changed the address. I call the shipper and they said FedEX changed it. I never got my package and was out $200.
I constantly recieve deliveries for a street that's similar, but completely different to my street. (Lakeview Circle v. Lake Side Drive) Luckily, the telephone number is on most of the packages, but I saved the guy's number so when I recieve the package he comes and grabs it. It happens so frequently, We're on a first name basis.
If it's advertised that my package will be delivered by FedEX before I purchase an item, I either try to change the shipper or avoid the seller completely.

Fedex sucks!!
by reallyannoyed ,Nov 20 '09
Pros: None Cons: Um, everything: bad customer service, unreliable, not flexible.
I really hate being forced to use FedEx -- why can't companies at least offer you the choice of FedEx or USPS? I had problems where I used to live with them because I couldn't get down the stairs to the door before they were back in their truck and down the street. Now, if I can't be there when they deliver the package, they want me to drive 30 mi. to the nearest pickup station myself. Now, what is the use of ordering through the mail if I have to drive 30 mi. to get it? None. They won't allow the recipient to decide whether or not the package is left outside the door (dumb) and they also won't allow the recipient to change delivery locations (even dumber). Hey, who ordered this package and is paying for the delivery? THat's right, I am, so leave my frikkin' package where I tell you to!
