Pros: When the delivery is done by another driver, they are nice and on time. Cons: Horrible customer service. They don't care about your shipment at all.
So, the driver comes and complains that we should tell the shipper that we don't need to sign for stuff in our area. Then he takes three steps into my house while I try to sign. My dog growls and the driver gets all crazy and starts kicking the crap ...

Pros: none, their services suck big time (see comments in cons section) Cons: everything: high fees, bad customer service, slow shipping. They basically suck.
Just received a 130$ video card purchased on eBay and got dinged for an extra $63,25 for UPS "brokerage" fees and whatnot. Here's the actual breakdown of those mysterious fees, as provided to me by their awful customer service: COD CHARGE $4.25 ...

Pros: None Cons: Brokerage fees
Watch out for those hidden brokerage fees. They can end up costing you more than the items are worth. When I complained I was given a polite p'o' letter. When you use their slow service, they don't tell you the brokerage fees up front -- you only find...

Pros: Proves that crime pays, big time. Cons: Absolutely ridiculous brokerage fees.
Who'd have thought that such a large and seemingly reputable company would so blatantly scam it's customers with OUTRAGEOUS brokerage fees. This is a clear money grab, with absolutely no regard shown for the customer. On a $200 GIFT from the US to ...

Pros: Supposed to guarantee safe arrival of package. Cons: Unbelievable fees (a fee to pay your fees, for instance). Very poor service.
My experiences with eBay have been for the most part satisfactory and at the very worst slightly annoying. That all changed when one of my sellers insisted on using UPS to ship my package. One day I was greeted to a slip saying that the first attempt to ...

Apr 10/08 - We ordered shoes online from Margaritaville Footwear in FL, paid for the shoes (69.95) AND shipping (@ 35.00) at time of order. We got a call from UPS Canada when the shoes arrived and were told someone had to be at home because the item was ...

Pros: None. Got that? None. Cons: The dog poo of couriers.
My package took over three weeks to get from Virgina to Victoria. It went across the continent twice and across the US canadian border 9 times! Okay, I'm not going to complain to much. All I need to do is show you the itinerary of my shipment from ...

Pros: Fast and efficient (but not friendly) service until I handed the money. Cons: Rude/defensive when accused of failing to provide full disclosure of added fees schedule.
Judge for yourself. I pasted below the complaint I filed with the company. Their reply follows. MY COMPLAINT: The recipient is being asked to pay an additional $63.00 to accept delivery of the package I sent to Canada. Needles to say, I ...

Pros: Nothing Cons: Sickeningly high prices
I just returned home to find the tires I ordered from Tirerack had been delivered--just in time for winter!
Then I looked at the bill.
OH MY GOD!
In addition to the $130.00 that I paid Tirerack for shipping, UPS added:...

Pros: Improved service, pro-active, early delivery, online tracking Cons: Past history of problems
I've recently been shipping parcels from the US and have experimented with the different carriers. In the past, I understand that UPS has been clearing the products through customs themselves and charging the exhorbitant fee of $30+ for processing. In...

Pros: Fast service Cons: Recipient is charged "hidden fees"
Always use the USPS instead of UPS when mailing a package from the USA to Canada. Always. Always. Always.
UPS charges a horrendous brokerage fee on packages that cross the border. A brokerage fee is the fee charged for conducting a package...
