Pros: A lot faster then OLDER KT7-RAID, Soft Menu III BIOS is great for OC'ing
Cons: The newer DDR motherboards are the way to go if your building a new pc

Why 3 vs. 4 memory...

Why 3 vs. 4 memory slots? Has anyone thought to tell all of us Windows ME schmucks that WinME doesn't have addressability beyond 512MB memory (see System.ini, Vcache, MinFileCache & MaxFileCache)?!? IOW, to use this board to its true potential requires Windows XP. That said, this is the most feature-rich motherboard that I have come across in years. If you want to run an overclocked server (OK, it only has 1 CPU, but built-in RAID for transaction integrity!) or just own an excellent stable system, then look NO further. When you compare the $$$ per capabilities between Px and AMD (CPU's, chipsets, bandwidths, you name it) ABIT & AMD is definitely a winning combination.
