Pros: Simple, doubles as a storage device and an MP3 player, light Cons: Simple, feels cheap, poor ear bud earphones
If all you're looking for in an MP3 player is some descent megabytes, good sound, and affordability, SmartDisk's Rover is exactly what you need! If you like snazzier gadgets that look hot and stylish, and tons of options, you probably won't be satisfied ...
Pros: Easy controls, Good sound quality, only uses one AAA battery, Easy computer interface. Cons: No fast forward or rewind. Control dial can easily be bumped. No batter meter.
I've tried at least a dozen MP3 players for use while riding. Many have worked ok, but have been ak ...
Pros: lightweight, pc/mac compatible Cons: difficult to use, mp3's played alphabetically, terrible control - yes 1 control
I bought this MP3 player because I use both PC and Mac platforms. That's the only thing good about it. So far it appears to play mps alphabetically. I tried overcoming this by renaming files with numbers. Now one file plays on my mac with iTunes but...
Pros: Great sound. Great value. Cons: Clumsy interface.

Nice quality ear bud headphones are included. Removing the headphones...
Pros: Price is good an unit is compact Cons: Product stops working in short period of time.
I have owned 3 of these units in the last 6 months. The first one never worked and was returned to the store. The replacement stopped working with headphones after the 30 day return policy for the store and was replaced by SmartDisk. The 3rd one had the same problem within 30 days. The company will not stand behind the product, only offering to replace it with another (I don't want a 4th) or a credit with the company, which does not do me much good. My recommendation is to look elsewhere.
