Pros: Price, Ease of Use, Contents Cons: Can't think of Any
We chose this iMac because of it's composition, feeling we couldn't get more for our money from any other computer manufacturer. Who else could provide us with the equivalent of a G3 chip, 333Mghz processor, V.90 modem, 6gig HD, Internal CD-Rom, USB...

Pros: Ease of use and setup Cons: Lack of software
I admit I am somewhat biased, but I truly love my iMac. I owned a Mac previously and loved it and will probably always be true to Apple. But I have say if I were asked to recommend a computer for someone who has little computer experience--iMac is the...

Pros: NOTHING!!! If Epinions had a "Really Hate It" list, the iMac would go there. Cons: Everything. small keyboard; tacky colors; freezes all the time
After working on an iMac for a mere three weeks, I am in dire need of an anger management course. I hate this computer. I mean, I really, really, REALLY hate this computer. If you're a fan of Macs, stop reading now. ...

Pros: the color, its lack of confusing wires Cons: poor quality, poor quality and more poor quality
Ok so I should probably start off by declaring myself as a proud PC chick. Now I shall tear into the Mac or specifically the ever evil iMac.
"Oooh look at all the pretty colors," we all declared in jubilant smiles as this colorful...

Pros: Easy to use, snap to start, wireless internet & ethernet comms Cons: no installed / provided floppy
While many of you have grown up with nothing but the IBM / Microsoft monster located on your desk....a few of us have seen what can be done with other computer formats.
I am writing this in response to Lazer Racer's review on the iMac...

Pros: It's a Mac. That says it all... Cons: Just your typical Mac quirks here...
The IMac is Mac #4 for me.
Yes, I am a true Mac devotee. I'm not going to bore you with a long and langorous review of the history of Apple, and how I worship Macs. I'm just going to tell you under what circumstances I bought my...

Pros: excellent industrial design, good value for the buck Cons: lousy peripherals and no external storage, which drive the true price of the machine up
(12/17/00: Apple upgraded the keyboard and mouse bundled with iMac models since I wrote this review. In my humble opinion, the new peripherals are improvements but not dramatic ones. The rest of the review is still valid.)

Pros: neat, easy to use Cons: some peripherials need some special stuff
i was a hard core windows user. i hadn't used a mac since grade school, where the top of the line was an apple IIe. then i met my husband. he's a photographer, and a die hard mac fan. (i'm not sure he's ever even used a windows box.)
when...

Pros: Ease of use Cons: Unresponsive keyboard
The first computer I worked on at about 12 was a TRS-80 from Radio Shack. They were called Trash 80s for a good reason; mysterious freezes, disappearing data, irregular crashes. And I was entering accounting data for my father. Imagine how scarred I was...

Pros: Fast, reliable, fun! Cons: tiny bit fuzzy at highest resolution
We've had several computers in our home, and the iMac is by far and away my favorite! The all in one design is convenient and easy to use. I love the fact that is doesn't take much space in our family room. Although the monitor is just 13+ inches it...

Pros: Very intuitive, easy and speedy startup Cons: Mouse, low memory
When I was thinking of a birthday present for my wife (and trust me, this is never easy) I crossed a CompUSA store near the shopping mall.
My first thought went into directions of e-mailing and chatting with her friends and family back in good ol'...

Pros: Simplicity, ease of use, ease of transportation, aesthetic, perfect for the average user Cons: The mouse sucks, Not expandable, difficult maintenance
I agree with some of the iMac review but I think that some major points were missed and some of the opinions expressed are uninformed.
The arguments made in the review sounded to me like somebody trying to convince a race-car driver that a Hundai is...

Pros: Low Price, updrages from the older version of the iMac Cons: Hard to upgrade, cramped
I don't know if the green one is faster than the orange, blue, or red one. But I do know that with its processor and operating system upgrade, the iMac Lime is faster than the original. It's a little more expensive, but at $1199 its a great deal. There...

Pros: High performance, reasonably priced Cons: Lack of affordable USB Postscript printers
As a graphic arts professional, I have always appreciated Apple's philosophy of creating a computer that is as attractive to look at as it is a powerful tool to work with. While other computer companies announce their new models--which, by the way, wear...

Pros: Fast, compact, cute, ease of use, stability Cons: Lack of documentation, the mouse
On my way to work, on a train in Sydney, I stood next to a guy reading the latest news magazine; the cover was all black, with the Apple logo, and the words "The Death of Apple." Initial reaction from me was, ho-hum, here they go again. I've...
