Pros: Colorful, Space saving, crashes less, more cost efficient Cons: not very many compatible programs
The imac is the greatest threat to the pentium class computers ever.
It is wonderfully designed. It contains the worlds most efficient processor, and it is easy to use. It is excellently standard equipped.
The Mac OS 9 come along with it. Imac...

Pros: It is very easy to use and can be very fast. Cons: Not a lot of games or software are compatible for this computer.
The iMac is very fast and has a lot of memory. Even though there are not a lot of games or software that are compatible for this computer, its is still fun to use. The iMac comes with a 56k modem, and is still sold at a very reasonable price. This...

Pros: Ummm....well.... Cons: Everything
We all remember the ad with the guy in a protective suit torching a PC. You know. The one with the seventies music in the background.
Apple should be sued for false advertising. The iMac is perhaps the weakest computer on the market today. I...

Pros: It's perfect and has almost everything.
Cons: Can't insert mini-disc; no DVD storage; no floppy drive.
The new iMac comes in Indigo, Graphite,
Flower Power and Blue Dalmatian. You can create your own movies with iMovie 2. It can go up to 600 mhz. The keyboard is bigger and the mouse is bigger and runs on an optical laser sensor instead of a...

Pros: Pretty Colors Cons: no memory
It is a miracle that I am able to write this review because my coputer freezes every five minutes. I bought the iMac for two reasons, it is cheap, and it works with the software I use. College students everywhere beware of these temptations. Spend the...

Pros: It's price and reliability Cons: none
Do you need to buy your child a computer for school? Apple offers their customers the I-MAC which is a great computer to type and cruise the internet on. This computer has been so reliable that it has brought Apple back into the computer business. The...

Pros: cute design Cons: no cool gadgets, it's an Apple product
The first time I ever tried to work on a iMac was at school. One of the teachers had bought the computer for the Mac lab on campus, only to discover that it wouldn't network correctly with her other computers. I sat down at the computer to check my...

Pros: Easy to use, rare crashes, child and adult friendly. Cons: The 15" screen may be small for some, but I think its fine.
I bought one after dealing with Windows 95 for far too long. This thing doesn't crash often & is simple to use. An excellent family computer. I still have my original one 3 years later and still love it.
Personally I prefer the original color...

Pros: simple, powerful, attractive Cons: no floppy drive (but who needs it?)
I have one of the original iMacs. I have had it for over a year and a half and I love it. As a college student I enjoy the fact that it doesn't take up much space, and as a graphic design major, I love the amount of powerfully fast computing that can...

Pros: Price, ease of use, great shareware available! Cons: Microsoft rules the market right now.
I have had five Macs over the years and a couple of PCs.
I currently have a 700Mhz PC and it is not nearly as fast as the 350MHz iMac. It also crashes a lot and is basically a pain to use. I only have because I develop multimedia...

Pros: It's cheap and has a nice design Cons: It is slower than a newer PC
I purchased an iMac in June, and I am disappointed with it. Granted, I think it is one of the better models Apple has come up with, better than the PowerPC, but it wasn't what I expected. I purchased my teal iMac to get a break from the PC and Windows,...

Pros: none Cons: all
I feel very strongly towards macs. My opinion I think they are a waste of time(literally) and money. For some reason schools seam to use macs instead of ibms. The older macs have really slow processors and cant hold more than one program. At my...

Pros: Easy to use, compact Cons: Can't handle heavy load
I would recommend the iMac to an entry level computer user, but for anyone more computer literate, the iMac doesn't seem comparable to the comparably-priced PC. I've used it several times at work, and it is significantly less stable when put under what I...

Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything
Now CashMoneyMaker is all over using the internet for different things, but I refuse to use an IMAC for several reasons. For one, everyone admires the colors, well I say forget it. They might as well make guns pretty colors if it will help the sale....

Pros: nothing worth mentioning Cons: slow, freezes
The IMAC, "all in one" computer is the most painful computer to work with that I have ever seen. Rarely, will I ever find myself able to type, or search for anything with a large memory, or else the computer will freeze. What is more, is that...
