Pros: Great display Cons: Fiddly OSD compared to some other monitors, RGB alignment not what it used to be.
The image quality of this monitor is simply stunning. It beats Sony’s top of the range 19” monitor for crying out loud! It has a visible range of 15.9” which is lower than most 17” monitors, if not by much. But what it does have is the ability to run in...

Superb, if not big

Pros: 1280x1024 resolution support
It's lasted me 6 years and is still going strong Cons: The colours aren't perfect
It's a big unit
This iiyama monitor was bought around 1999. Now it's 2005 and it still works fantastically. Everything looks very crisp and the colours are great. The ideal resolution is 1280x1024, as all the other resolutions don't properly fit on the screen.
One minor problem with this game is, with some websites with certain colours on on such games as The Sims on the loading screen, the colours in the bottom right corner go darker than the rest of the screen. The only way of removing this is by degaussing the screen (a simple process), but the odd colours soon return. Still, it's just a minor problem.
The only reason that I'd want to buy a new monitor is because of the sheer size of this one. It takes up a lot of the desk which is sort of a hassle.
Still, I recommend this monitor to anyone who can find it on the market and doesn't mind having a big CRT.
