A mouse for every house

by Gr8ful Gr8ful is a Lead on Epinions in Computer Hardware, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, May 21 '00
Pros: Easy to use, no mouse ball, no need for a mouse pad, lasts a long time
Cons: expensive (but worth it over time)
There are several reasons to purchase this mouse but the biggest reason is it's longevity. This mouse will last longer than any other conventional mouse device and stay accurate at the same time. No more two dollar mice to throw away in six months.

by psugrowler Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Dec 09 '00
Pros: Faster & more accurate
Cons: N/A
The ball and pad are gone. I finally made the move and got rid of my Microsoft IntelliMouse. After a week or two of reading about the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer on Epinions I broke down and bought one. Boy, am I breathing a sigh of...

This mouse is just PERFECT! it cannot be beaten!

by etrustman , Jul 04 '00
Pros: No Mouse Ball! Extremely Accurate! Superior Comfort! Suprisingly Durable!
Cons: Costly...To much as mice are concerned.
The Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer is the heir to all past mice that have failed me. You know what happens: first, your basic mouse gets clogged up with junk and then starts to ignore commands from your finger when you push the button. When this started...

Are you a mouse killer too?

by krashlite2 , Oct 20 '00
Pros: Great for a basketball player and concert pianist
Cons: Physical specifications and design are seriously flawed
Hello my name is Joe and I'm a mouse killer. During the past seven years, I've owned two different computers and about ten different regular mousing devices. Why am I a mouse killer? Honestly I don't know. Maybe it is that I press down on them too hard...

by Wesley815 , Dec 02 '00
Pros: Works good, Looks neat
Cons: Sensitive buttons, Too big, Hard to lift up
As other people have, I got sick of my old mouse 'sticking' and the ball getting dirty all the time so I found the new Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer...

Since it is an optical mouse there is no ball, instead there is a red light where the...

Just remember: Clean your ball...

by robertopaul , Sep 10 '00
Pros: Excellent design. Third 'scroll button' is genius. Smooth and responsive.
Cons: Right hand biased? Occasional old applications don't recognise the scrolling wheel capability.
Only as I sit at this iMac using its one-button circular mouse do I begin to form a real sense of appreciation for how well-designed and intuitive Microsoft's Intellimouse is.

The general mouse itself hasn't changed a great deal over...

This Mouse Has Been Neutered! (Edit 10/18)

by awoolcott Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, May 28 '00
Pros: No mouseball, no mousepad, two side buttons for internet features
Cons: Price is kinda steep, some incompatibility with Windows Me
From the first time I laid eyes on this thing, I have developed somewhat of an obsession with it. Every time I saw it somewhere, I picked up the box and marveled at how cool the thing was (trust me, I got quite a few funny looks at Fry's Electronics,...

A Microsoft hardware device on my Mac?!? Yeah, I guess so...

by adjensen , Mar 18 '01
Pros: No mouse ball; very smooth and precise; Buttons can be fully customized; Mac compatible
Cons: Expensive; may make you uncool with the Mac crowd
When I bought my iBook, I didn't bother buying a mouse, as it has a built in track pad. After realizing that it would be desk bound 90% of the time, I swiped an old iMac USB mouse from work.

It didn't take too long to realize why the mouse...

Bob Barker Would Be Proud Of Me!

by StraightTalker , Jun 17 '00
Pros: No more opening up the mouse for maintenance
Cons: A little more than I like to spend
My mouse has no balls! Not only that, but the Price Is Right!

I'm sorry. I couldn't resist. But, it's true! I was getting sick and tired of opening my mouse up and cleaning it's guts. The problem is that I sit in my recliner and...

I Had My Mouse Fixed!

by RichBoston Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Jun 17 '00
Pros: Maintenence Free, Scrolling Wheel, YOU Decide What Functions the Buttons Control
Cons: Expensive
I guess you could say they "fixed" this mouse by surgically removing the ball (or maybe you wouldn't say that!)

I was looking to replace my standard issue mouse for two reasons.

1) I was tired of having my old mouse skip...

Intellimouse Explorer - Gates Broke My Heart

by SirMontego Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, May 31 '00
Pros: Accurate, Smooth, and Cool Looking
Cons: USB did not work for me
After reading numerous positive reviews about the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer I decided to give the little thing a shot.

First of all this mouse is not cheap. At $59.99, I contemplated the purchase for many months. This is the most...

IntelliMouse Explorer Does Everything But Park Your Car

by lovdbyGod7 , Aug 22 '00
Pros: See Review
Cons: Price
I have nothing but good things to say about this mouse, so if you are in one of those moods (we all have them) to read a negative review, read someone else’s or go see one of my other reviews (I have plenty of negatives, too).

The last time I...

by Bonies7 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Nov 15 '99
Pros: Breakthrough technology...that WORKS
Cons: Instruction manual is puny
Question: What does it take to be a decent reviewer here at Epinions.com? Perhaps a passing knowledge of grammar and the English language....but then again....unfortunately... that's not even really necessary. No, the answer that I'm alluding to is...
