Pros: very smooth, no cleaning
Cons: too bulky
I just stole this mouse from a coworker because I got tired of cleaning out my track ball. I have been using it for a couple of months now, and I am glad to be free of cleaning it out. I have actually had to clean the pads that it slides on because they...

Pros: Feels great in the palm of your hand. Cons: Haven't found any, honest...
Have you tried every mouse on the market and still know there has to be a better one out there. Since buying my computer two years ago, I have accumulated over twenty or so of the latest mouses and recently I bought a Intellimouse explorer.

Pros: Durable and very sensitive to movement. it's quite an accurate mouse to use. Cons: paint does not last
About 3 years ago i bought an intellimouse. Not being too familiar with the optical technology that it uses i was naturally skeptical, but instead of persisting with the "ball" version of mice that are now almost obsolete, i thought it can only get...

Pros: No mouse ball. The best optical mouse precission Cons: price. kind of uncomfortable
I was never really a fan of optical mouses. I tryed a few cheap ones and a pretty expensive logitech one. I also tryed the microsoft cheap optical one. One thing i've noticed too is that the original microsoft intellimouse had the same problems but the...

Pros: Wheel technology fantastic Cons: Should have a horizontal wheel and other capabilities too
It is not very usual to see a software company like Microsoft design and manufacture some computer hardware, but to be honest this is probably one of the most successful moves of Microsoft. The wheel concept on the mouse is a genius idea.
For...

Pros: Better then mouse with ball (no cleaning). Smooth wheel. Cons: Too big. Too high. Too heavy. Chance of misclicking the side-buttons is too high.
I bought this mouse many months ago. I'm still using it, but there are some cons. 1: Mainly, i think it's too big. It should be lower. Now your fingers are too high above the desktop. 2: The mouse could be more manouverable if is was lighter and smaller....

Pros: Durable, smooth Cons: Bill Gates
I've had my Intellimouse for a year or so. I'm real happy with it. I was very skeptical about getting a Microsoft mouse. I still had a bad taste from the two-button Microsoft mice. I thought it'd turn into a two-button mouse with a ball. However I was...

Pros: Best Sensitivity. Durable. Nice. Cons: Big Size. Expensive..
Simply the Best
Doing a article on the Optical that I own, I thought I would do a review on my brother's mouse, the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer. After using those old mouses with the ball in the bottom, my brother got an Explorer. I then...

Pros: looks great, fits your hand, two great programmable buttons and some more.. Cons: expensive, not dependable, Microsoft's
:)
I bought this "laser mouse" in february last year from "office depot" and went home happy.
After a few months the mouse didn't function properly which means that while I was working with it, it used to stop responding for about 20 seconds and then...

Pros: Well built Cons: They should make a left hand version
I went out to purchase this product because I thought it was time for a new mouse. I was tired of cleaning it each week so I ran down to my local staples store and saw one on display.
I picked it up and looked at the mouse first thing I knew is this...

Pros: Fast, Accurate, Smooth handling, looks and feels very solid. Cons: Kinda bulky, sensitive buttons.
Well, honestly, how much is there to say about a mouse? :)
I really like its solid performance. The movement is very smooth and accurate, much more so than a regular ball mouse. You also get a lot of options using Microsoft's drivers and...

Pros: Cordless, optical Cons: Heavy, Noisy, Slow, Sucks Batteries
I understand that there are already plenty of reviews for this product, however most of them seem monotonous in their praise for this shockingly substandard product.
The good things about this mouse are as you'd expect, it is wireless and it...

Pros: No trackball Cons: Skips sometimes
I purchased a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer after having numerous other computer mice. The reason I bought it was because it uses infrared instead of a mouseball. This is good because there are less moving parts that can get dirty. When friends are...

Pros: No trackball, high resolution, scroll button, back/forward buttons Cons: Right-handed, Priced around $65-$70
Its absolutely great to be able to surf the net with the mouse on my leg. This is a very high resolution and multi-functional mouse. The average price in Wal-Mart or Kmart is about $65 but on ebay they're only $50(55 with shipping). This price, and the...

Pros: No cleaning Cons: Not as sensitive as a ball mouse
--With all these mice out on the market these days, which is the best?
--While I can not say for sure which is better, here are some of my perspectives:
Recommendation:
