Pros: No more cleaning Cons: Girls might not like it as it is slightly bulky - use the intellimouse optical instead
I love the intellimouse explorer for one reason - no cleaning required. Gone are the days when I had to open my mouse to clean the x,y rollers. I remember using a ball less mouse from sun microsystems a long time ago but I never liked it because the...

Pros: USB, Optical, Forward/Back Button, Nice Scrollwheel, Programmable Buttons Cons: Too large, picking up a lot of dust
I really wanted an optical mouse and directly buyed one. I'm a big fan of USB and the mouse IS USB! You will also find a USB to Ps/2 converter. I reccomend using the USB connection, because the refreshrate of USB is a little bit higher with optical mice....

Pros: Performs exactly like you hope it to Cons: Expensive, hard to reach forward thumb button, not ergonomic for smaller hands
My mouse started to give me trouble after only 3 months of use. I tried to clean the ball and the inner part of the mouse, to no avail. It was time for me to buy a new mouse!

Pros: Easy to use, less wrist strain than a mouse. Cons: rollers get dirty, right-handed only.
After a year of rolling and lifting the mouse that came with my computer, I decided to check out trackballs. I went to my local computer store to feel which ones were comfortable for me and knew at "first feel" that the Intellimouse Trackball was for...

Pros: Good optical, responsive, good buttons Cons: Expensive! Designed oddly
Okay, first let me say that as a user of two different optical mice, if you're looking to buy a mouse now, get it optical because they are far superior to the old ball mice. They're much more precise and responsive than the regular ball mice.

Pros: Sorry - no pros. Cons: Poor design. Worst than a conventional mouse.
I had a really bad wrist and finger pain resulting from conventional keyboard and mouse. After sending a request to my IT manager for a better and smarter mouse for the natural hand without specifying any particular brand nor model, I received this MS...

Pros: Glides smooth, comfortable, no cleaning of rubber mouseball sensors.
has scrolling wheel. Cons: sometimes you accidentally click the back button while surfing.
How often do you clean that stupid mouse with the rubber ball, even when you know it needs it? Your pointer sticks and hangs but You are usually so into what you are doing that you just keep going! Yeah, I'll clean it later( maybe next millenium).
