Pros: Inexpensive, very good quality, ergonomic, no set-up needed Cons: Right-hand use only, no USB
I have a cluttered desktop that's why two months ago I finally gave up on my mouse and bought the very inexpensive Microsoft IntelliMouse Trackball. This is a no-frills trackball that has met all my expectations.
The thing I like the most...

Pros: Works great, feels great, lots of precision in movements Cons: Not for reflective surfaces, expensive
I was intrigued by the look of this mouse...the silver, sleek body and the red taillight, it seemed more like a description of a car than a computer mouse! I had to go and check this out for myself at the store.
There was really nothing so...

Pros: No cleaning, and low maintenance, perfect for the frequent, absent-minded user Cons: The software may be buggy, but it all depends on the version.
As you can tell from the title, this mouse from Microsoft is big, big in comparison to most hands attached to people. For me, however, it fits perfectly.
Not that your hand has to fit this mouse, which doesn't really matter. It is...

Pros: Loses accuracy only occasionally, four buttons (not uncommon nowadays). Cons: Besides that fact that it is a Microsoft product: it will not work on glass or the mirror they advertise it on, it is EXTREMELY expensive for a mouse, it sometimes has a few problems with speed.
When my HP-supplied mouse started losing accuracy, I was in trouble. I know many, many keyboard shortcuts that can enable one to use Windows without a mouse, but I was lost when playing on-line games such as Team Fortress. These games and my sanity...

Pros: Very good feel, precise and light as a feather. Cons: Takes a little getting used to, and a little too pricey.
To start off I need to compare this new technologically advanced mouse to the old "big balled" slower and less dependable mice. A regular old designed mouse has a steel ball coated in a tactile rubber coating that runs against both a X axis and...

Pros: NONE! Cons: Poorly thought out ergonomics & buttons too sensitive
I loved the previous Intellimouse - it fit beautifully in my hand, tactile feed back was superb, ergonomically super. Bothmy home and office use forced hot air heating, so the environments tend to be a bit dusty. When this mouse came out I went right...

Pros: You can click it to scroll by itself and it also can zoom in on areas of the page your reading. Cons: None
The computer tech decided to replace everyone's mouse in my office. Being a person that loved to draw with my mouse on the computer during break times I was a bit hesitant. I'd gotten used to the quirks my old mouse had. However, I decided to finally...

Pros: The Best Mouse Out Cons: Red Light is bright
When I first saw this mouse I couldn't believe what I saw!! Could there really be a mouse with no more annoying balls that you have to clean constantly? Would this mouse be better then the one I have now? Would it fit my hand? And Is it a good...

Pros: Cool red glow, never cleaning those tiny rollers again. Cons: Scroll wheel too fast for games. Sporadic movement in games.
One of the most unchanged computer devices, in terms of technology, has been the mouse. Over the past 25 years it has really only scene ergonomics enhancements until now. The Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer jumps ahead of the pack having NO moving...

Pros: The most accurate mouse you've ever used. Cons: Costs about $50.
Think of the mouse you're using right now. Does it have a mouse-ball at the bottom? If you've moved your mouse at any time, and noticed that the cursor on your screen wasn't moving in the direction you wanted it to, it's probably because the mouse-ball...

Pros: more expensive than the typical $10 mouse (but it does last a long time) Cons: included software utility really isn't that useful
I have had a Microsoft IntelliMouse for about three years now and it works just as well now as it did when I first bought it. It would be a good replacement mouse for a cheapo one that comes with a computer, but if your current mouse works fine for you...

Pros: Comfortable, no more mouse falling off the mousepad! Cons: Has to be cleaned every once in a while.
What a wonderful invention a trackball! No more wandering off the mouse pad or getting tangled in the cord. The ball moves not the mouse!
I have to agree with another member at first I did not like using a trackball. However, once I got...

Pros: PC and MAC compatible, optical sensor, no ball, programmable, easy web navigation Cons: If you move the mouse very quickly, the cursor sometimes gets confused and jumps around randomly on the screen.
You see a red light in the distance - is it a space ship or is it the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer?
The fine and dandy folks at Microsoft decided to make this mouse in a usb version for both PC and Mac users. This comes in very nice for me,...

Pros: Really cool, works on any surface, many features. Cons: Expensive, impractical, buttons too sensitive.
When I first heard about this mouse, I thought, "That’s a really good idea!”. When I decided to buy it, I was right. The whole concept of the mouse is very interesting. Instead of using moving parts (like a track ball), it uses optics to move...

Pros: Shape & Size are great, good drivers, excellent accuracy, longetivity. Cons: Not for "lefties"
From a technical viewpoint, it is clear. There's a small camera in there that takes pictures and compares them, then sends detected movement signals to the PC. Fine. But how did they pack that kind of technology that is really advanced compared to the...
