Pros: ergonomic for larger hands, never needs cleaning, nothing to wear out Cons: no microwave oven atatched !
The microsoft intellimouse explorer is a great way to start pointing and clicking your way to a happy face.
This new mouse from microsoft uses optical technology to get rid of that pesky mouse ball from days gone by. Why in the world would...

Pros: Great scroll wheel, no more sticky mouse ball, good buttons Cons: Expensive, too tall for comfort, not for lefties
This is an interesting new product, one surely to be emulated by others. I can easily imagine little red lasers emitted from every object in our environment, from the dinner menu at your local Swizzler to every tree in the National Park of your choice....

Pros: No ball to clean, smooth scroll wheel, two extra thumb buttons Cons: Emits a creepy red glow
I've been dealing with computers for a long time, and I've used more than my fair share of mice, including the low quality generic ones you can pick up for $10 at most computer stores, the original MS Intellimouse, and a trackball from Logitech. I...

Pros: No moving parts to gunk up. Cons: Buttons are a tad sensitive
Starbucks. Clean Sheets. The Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer. They say it's the simple things in life that give you the most pleasure. Well, I'm not too sure about that (I think a Porche 911 Carrera 4 would give me A LOT of pleasure!), this mouse can...

Pros: lightweight, usb, nice roller and buttons Cons: too big for my hand
Was it hype? Was it a real need? Even though I already own a Logitech Mouseman+ of which I'm very satisfied of (as you already know if you read my review), I decided to order this Intellimouse Explorer a few days ago. I didn't expect to use it on my main...

Pros: Feels Good, Looks Good, Never needs cleaning. Cons: (Problem only with wireless version... see review.)
Please note: This review is about the wireless version. I'll have the wired version tomorrow afternoon... after I return this one.
That said, let's take a look at the mouse. The reason I'm sticking with the mouse design is because it just...

Pros: No moving parts, Looks cool, excellent for games, nice software Cons: Expensive, feels weak, too light
I was in the market for a new mouse, my old Logitech mouse man plus was getting a little worn after three years and I felt it was time for an upgrade. In comes the Microsoft Intellimouse explorer, one of the newest in Microsofts "Ball less"...

Pros: USB or PS2 connection, easy to install/use, no cleaning Cons: a bit pricey
I still remember the day when i first used an Intellimouse Explorer... I was hanging around in a friend's dorm room, playing Half-Life on his computer, amazed by the smoothness of his mouse, and wishing i could afford one. Being a college student has...

Pros: Does not need cleaning, precise Cons: Too large; Caused headaches due to light discharge
I bought the mouse at the suggestion of several gaming sites that thought it improved gaming. Theoretically it could react faster than a ball as well as allow greater precision. I found this to not be the case for myself. Why? The mouse is much larger...

Pros: New Sensor Technology, Two New Browsing Buttons, The Little Red Light at the Bottom Cons: Pricey
The Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer uses new technology to update an old classic, the mouse.
The Explorer's most obvious new feature and selling point is its use of an optical sensor to track movement. The Intellimouse eschews the old rolling...

Pros: Good optical system, good side buttons. Cons: expensive, flimsey construction, too large, looks tacky.
The explorer mouse is, large, expensive, and silver? Well it looks weard but who cares, it's the way it works that's the important thing.
Initially the optical system (which is what it is sold on) works very well. It has a lovely smooth...

Pros: Super accurate, no lint collecting Cons: Weird placement of extra buttons

Pros: Great functionality for all applications Cons: Could have used higher DPI scan
It’s been nearly 30 years since a new mouse technology as arisen, this model by far takes the cake for performance, functionality, and design. I first got interested in the IntelliMouse Explorer when I went to a LAN party and 90% of the people there...

Pros: Form fitting design, 5 button action, wheel, buttons near the thumb, optical Cons: Could be a little bigger for my hand, colors... Needs some color options... LOL
As far as mice go, I humbly believe this is the mack daddy of all mice. Arguments can be made against it with regard to ergonomics. And if you are really concerned about those issues, check out a track ball or go and look at the graphics tablets.
