Pros: Form fitting, light, laser-beam action, USB support, lotsa buttons, all around excellence Cons: mine broke and Microsoft's support sucks, laser can be damaging to eyes
I realize that this product isn't exactly new but when I got it, it really was. The amazing thing was, the technology was also new and even today it can hold its own against competitors.
Too bad mine broke
First of all however, this...

Pros: reasonable price, extremely comfortable during extended use Cons: made by Micro$oft, isn't supported under Linux
I am the first to say how much I dislike Microsoft software...but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good mouse made by them!
I do not use a Microsoft mouse on my own computer; since I dual-boot MS Win98 with RH Linux...

Pros: Programmable Buttons,Precision,Any surface, Cool red light, Sleek Design, Easy Install, PS2/USB choice Cons: Takes some time to get used to, If you 'jolt'/[move] really fast it "jumps".
Tidbits about the author:
Bought this when it came out; have been using it ever since.
Used to use a trackball (2 years ago), then switched to Microsoft Intellimouse, then to this mouse (intellimouse explorer).

Pros: Comfortable, requires little attention, easy to use Cons: Paint started to fade after heavy usage
I was intrigued by the idea of an optical mouse since I was first aware of it's inception. I always despised having to fumble around with mouse pads and the tedious operation of cleaning the frequently dirty mouseball. Thankfully, the IntelliMouse...

Pros: easy on the hands, makes computing easier Cons: trackball still gets dirty like all the rest of them
After using a conventional mouse for so long I was ready for a change. When I was browsing the Mouse selections at my local CompUSA store i noticed this device with a Trackball and scrolling wheel all in one. I figured it was TONS better than pushing...

Pros: works on all most all surfaces Cons: for right handed people only
I bought this mouse just over a year ago and have nothing but good things to say about it.
I heard about the new technology implemented and was curious and I needed a new mouse. I chose this mouse because there was nothing else like it on the...

Pros: No cleaning required! Cons: Price
How many times a week do you clean your mouse? Do you know how to clean your mouse? Did you even know you could clean it? Or did you just throw it away cause it rolled like one of those ever lasting gob-stoppers from Willie-Wonka's. Or when you go to...

Pros: laser, no ball, 5 buttons, programmable buttons Cons: somewhat big
Microsoft's new mouse. This mouse has a great design. It's silver and red, which really caught my eye when shopping for a new mouse. I was sick and tired of cleaning out my mouse and sick of it sticking. I needed a new mouse that didn't require...

Pros: Elegant look, scroll button, fits the hand. Cons: - - -
A couple of years ago when my family finally went all out on a new computer from "Gateway" (to replace our 486 with 8mg of ram) one of the first things I noticed was the mouse. Gateway had included a Microsoft IntelliMouse Pro.
I had...

Pros: Great accuracy, neat as all hell. Cons: Pricey for a mouse, not be for everyone.
This epinion is for the mouse with Intellieye technology. Although you might think, do I really need this? You may find that answer being yes. I assume you all have had a mouse that constantly catches. Clean it out, it will catch again in a couple...

Pros: no ball, no mousepad Cons: color clashes with my decorating scheme
I hate the mouse ball. Always getting clogged with hair or dust or lint or whatever somebody in the next cube is coughing up. Every once in a while the ball becomes slick or stuck, and the cursor movements would become erratic until you finally...

Pros: Feels nice, Thumb buttons, Nice wheel Cons: Hefty price, no sudden movements
I was buying a new computer for home use, and I wanted the best, and i mean the best. I heard rave reviews of the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer, but I didnt know if it would live up to its expectations. Oh but did it, and some.
First...

Pros: Very silky smooth response, no cleaning required-- ever Cons: Rather large, shape is a bit different, Looking at the bright light hurts eyes
Over the last 15 years computing has developed at an incredible rate. Oddly enough the mouse has stayed pretty much the same since it's original conception. That is, until now... For those of us who don't like trackballs, think touchpads are stupid,...

Pros: No moving parts to clean Cons: Skips when moved too fast
Well I recently purchased a MIcrosoft Mouse with IntelliEye Optical Technology. After a few weeks of using this mouse, I must say that this mouse is worth the money, though it has some flaws. The reason I picked this product was because I was tired of...

Pros: Cool color scheme, red LED and so-called high tech mechanism Cons: Unacceptable Tracking
I have been working and playing with computers for 16 years and this is the worst mouse I have ever used. As part of my business, I sell and service computers and I've owned and used dozens of Logitech and Microsoft mice. I've tried every mouse...
