Pros: Great looks, USB, optical Cons: Hmmmmm.... none that I can think of!!
I recently put together a new home computer, and got a Logitech optical mouse to go with it. Yesterday, I finally got sick of the rollerball mouse on my office computer, and headed over to Staples to buy a mouse myself to use at the office. I picked up ...

Pros: Ease of use and installation Cons: None so far
Being the online addict that I am, I was in complete dismay when my mouse suddenly went out one night with no warning.
I even called over my computer pro neighbor thinking it was just some glitch I didn't know about.
Nope, no such luck, it...

Pros: Aesthetics, Simplicity, Buttons! Cons: Crud Builds Up Under Small Mouse Feet
The three-clawed metallic hand of the Cyborg forcefully sinks its radioactive cybernetic appendages into the surface of the amorphous egg-like half oval mass on the factory assembly line, the cybernetic fingers leaving their lasting imprint and a...

Pros: No mouse balls to clean; roller on top becomes your best friend to scroll. Cons: Now I'm spoiled and hate my "regular" mouse at work!
One of my favorite recent Saturday Night Live skits involves the fake NPR (National Public Radio) chick talk show hosts and Alec Baldwin. It's usually aired as part of the annual Christmas show because the girls are going ga-ga over their guest's...

Pros: Smooth, High-Tech features Cons: 29 MB to run it
I am very impressed with my new IntelliMouse Optical. I got very sick of cleaning the mouse balls of my old mice. I couldn't believe how much gunk would get in them. The dirt really took a toll on performance. It seemed like I had to clean them out...

Pros: No cleaning needed, ergonomic, no mousepad, five buttons + wheel, looks great, ambidextrous Cons: Quite expensive, does not work on glass/reflective surfaces, not cordless
Another excellent piece of hardware from Microsoft For a product that tries to show off cutting edge technology and succeeds, it's surprising that Microsoft didn't add one extra feature to this mouse or at least make it an option. There are...

Pros: Optical sensor technology provides smooth, reliable mousing Cons: Ergonomically flawed design
I purchased this mouse after being extremely satisfied with the Microsoft IntelliMouse with IntelliEye, and I have to say that I am completely pleased with the optical sensor technology. The mouse acts completely trouble-free, and has none of the...

Pros: Everything Cons: none
Why Did I Purchase This Mouse
I was in need of a new mouse for my computer. My regular PS/2 mouse is worth more trouble than it is help. The constant erratic behavior of that mouse included the moving of the mouse across to places I...

Pros: form fitting, no cleaning Cons: darn light
I hate cleaning my mouse.
I hate losing a game because my mouse jumps around the screen, everywhere except where it should be.
I hate the stupid red light on the end of this new optical mouse. Reminds me of those dumb shoes that light up...

Pros: Ease of use, great tracking, no mouse ball to clean, programmable buttons Cons: Price (?), might inadvertently hit side buttons, hypnotic light that shines at night
As you are reading this, an infrared light is shining into your eyes... you are getting very, very easy to persuade... you are letting down your guard... you like monopolies... you have no fear of huge corporations... forget the little...

Pros: Cheap Price, non-skipping, doesn't stick, precise. Cons: None.
The Trip to Fry's Electronics
I recently bought this Optical Microsoft WheelMouse at the Local Fry's Electronics. I mainly purchased it because I was getting fed up with the old "rolling" moues sticking and skipping. Also, it was on sale for...

Pros: Feels great, nice tracking, pretty neat buttons, great for ANYONE with a ball/roller mouse Cons: They're becoming extinct
MY STORY
There isn't much of a story to accompany this mouse, but I will give you a run down.
1.) My Wheel Mouse Optical mouse died.
2.) Checked Sunday paper, saw IntelliMouse Optical for $19.99.
3.) Headed to Best Buy, got...

Pros: Extremely smooth cursor, doesn't need cleaning Cons: Just one button too many, cursor sometimes goes crazy
Why would you buy this rather expensive mouse when you could get a pretty good mouse with a ball for much less? Well you see once you have used an optical mouse you won't want to go back to the crappy old ball thing you had. A good experiment is to use...

Pros: Better tracking technology than the outdated ball. No mouse pad! Cons: Too expensive just because it is pretty and has two extra buttons
I hate when conventional mice get dirty. Not only the performance is terrible, but cleaning the rollers is HARD and some are so delicate that you can bust them for good.
When the MS optical mice series came out I was curious but they were too...

Pros: Glides easily over any surface, no ball to get gummed up, very precise Cons: Cost is too steep for this broke college kid.
My mother owns a Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical, so I had the good fortune of being able to use this mouse for about a month when I went home to visit my parents. Then again, maybe it wasn't good fortune. I now have an extreme, incurable case of Mouse...
