Pros: No more Balls, no more Cleaning, very Very accurate. Cons: Price is somewhat steep. most mice only cost 20 bucks, this is 50 or so.
This mouse is Amazing, responding to just the smallest movements. Its precision and quality are second to none. Its perfect for Games, Drawing, its nice just to have. I wish every mouse on every computer I had was exactly this kind...

Pros: More precise, no cleaning required, fits into hand nicely, nice functions Cons: careful what buttons you hit
I ordered this mouse after my regular mouse got clogged with junk and I just couldn't take the skips and sticks any longer. But shortly after I odered the IntelliMouse Optical, I fished the "junk" out from inside my old mouse, and hence, it worked once...

Pros: Excellent movement and Reliability Cons: ZILCH, actually
Okay, the reason I bought this mouse at first, because it LOOKED cool. You have to give it that. This mouse has the upscale Manhattan look. At least to me anyway. Now, the pros.
This mouse uses optical technology (lasers) for movement....

Pros: no balls and gears, no mouse pad needed Cons: a wee bit expensive
We won't discuss how many mice I have gone through in the year and 4 months I have had my computer. I have long hair. It used to be realllly long and my mouse seemed to be a magnet for it. I'd be surfing along and all of a sudden my cursor wouldn't be...

Pros: optical sensor, good software Cons: a little pricey
I was a little skeptical at first. I mean really--a mouse with no ball to clean? How could it track movement using just a stationary light? Wouldn't it be jumpy and imprecise? Happily, the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical surpassed my hopes and I...

Pros: no mouse ball means no fluff, as good as normal mouse, cool red glow!
Cons: none
Well if you purchase yourself one of Microsoft's new optical mice, then the answer is yes. Gone are the days when you spent 10 minutes with a small screw driver trying to get rid of the fluff and gunk that has magically appeared from your imaculatly...

Pros: flawless performance, cool red glow Cons: you won't need your cool mousepad anymore ;)
Are you fed up with '95 or '98 constantly crashing? Feel like you need a little something to restore your faith in Microsoft? Then buy an IntelliMouse Optical Mouse! It may even have you singing Microsoft's praises...
I love this mouse! As...

Pros: 4 buttons (2 programmable) and a wheel making browsing a breeze Cons: a bit expensive but worth it, takes a larger chunk of HD space, but also worth it!
My husband and I bought this when we discovered that we had not one
but three broken mice in our house! All ball driven, none track balls though. Angered by the incredible rate with which we had to replace
them, we decided to take a chance on...

Pros: Inexpensive, dead on accurate Cons: A little sluggish for games, but nothing you can't get used to.
Quick everyone… Bash Microsoft! But leave me out of it.
The three best pieces of hardware that have ever been hooked up to my computer have been made by the much maligned king of desktop operating systems, and my Intellimouse is one of them. ...

Pros: increased resolution, smoother movements, extra buttons Cons: takes a couple of hours to get used to
The design of the mouse is sleek and sexy and the hi-tech colors and the little glowing red light on its tail add to the visual impact. Microsoft replaced the old traditional ball mechanism with there new IntelliEye technology. Since there are no moving...

Pros: precise....sharp...NO CLEANING.... curvy! Cons: the fourth button on far right is hard to click, but thats just my opinion
I got this mouse as a Christmas present. To be honest, I was disappointed. I thought "Yay. A mouse. What fun is a mouse?" But when I installed it and started using it, i thought "Yay! A mouse! This is cool!" (non-sarcastically) ...

Pros: No mouse ball, easy installation, glows too! Cons: None!
I didn't really need a new mouse. My Logitech mouse I had purchased back in 1995 was still running quite well. The plastic was clean, the ball ran very smooth and I had had no problems with it the entire time I used it. But today, I decided to make...

Pros: Optical system, buttons, functions, software. Cons: Badly placed second side button, optical system is not 100 percent.
The Optical is a cheaper (and newer) version of the Explorer, and all I can guess is, it must be aimed at the group of people who think the explorer is too ‘Gary Glitter’ looking.
The main thing about this mouse (and it’s price) is the new...

Pros: Smooth and accurate operation, no mechanical components to clean, option-filled software bundle Cons: Slightly stiff cable
First, wheel mice are simply better.
Wheel mice changed the way I use a PC. Whenever I need to use or fix someone's PC without a wheel mouse, navigation seems much more cumbersome. The scroll wheel was a fantastic idea.

Pros: Extremely user-friendly, works on just about any surface, feels great in either hand, no driver needed for Win98 or Win2k Cons: None
I have tried lots and lots of mouses (or is it "mice"?), and finally I think I have found the perfect one. The Microsoft IntelliMouse optical sits right in the middle between the more advanced (meaning "more buttons"!) IntelliMouse...
