Pros: Huge screen, fast processor, great reliability, and a name you can trust, Apple. Cons: Nothing
I bought this computer on eBay for around one-half of what it is worth. And the speed will just blow you away. Now, you may think that a processor of 500MHz is all that much at all. But remember, Apple's processor's bus lines in the G3 are shorter, that...

Pros: Very powerful, Mac ease of use, and light (use it anywhere!). Screen is clear and sharp. Cons: Case feels somewhat fragile. The 6GB hard drive becomes annoyingly loud after several months. The screen could be brighter.
It was getting time to replace my old 603e-based Mac with something newer and faster. Plus, I was looking to free up space in my home. The 2000 PowerBook offered all the features I was looking for, and had just come down in price. It is blazingly...

Pros: Portability, Beautiful design, DVDs, Ethernet Cons: Weight, SCSI instead of current model's Firewire, AC Adapter port's Durability
For over a year now, I have been a happy owner of an Apple Powerbook G3 (bronze keyboard) with a DVD-Rom drive.
The main benefit I feel I have enjoyed since integrating this computer into my work (I'm a student at an art & design school)...

Pros: Affordable, Firewire, Large Screen, Ports Cons: None
Where I've used It
I work at the campus computer store and have had the extreme pleasure of introducing prospective customers to the wonders of the Powerbook. At an education price special of 1,999, the features in the Powerbook can't...

Pros: All. Cons: none.
Earlier this month I bought a great computer. I was blown away buy its strength it was incredible on how fast this computer really was. The speed was equal to 2000mhz. The chip inside makes it this fast and is the best piece of machinery money can buy....

Pros: Power, design, lots of extras. Cons: Somewhat pricey
I've had my Powerbook G3 for just under 1 year now and I still love it just as much as the day I opened the box and breathed in the aroma of freshly minted plastic. This is the second Macintosh that I've owned and it replaced my previous desktop G3. So...

Pros: Super fast 400/500 MHz processor, DVD-ROM, AirPort, portable Cons: a little pricey (but worth it!)
Being raised on a Macintosh, and being a college student, I have seen PowerBooks come and go. However, I am particularly pleased with Apple's latest addition to the PowerBook family...the PowerBook G3 "Pismo".
Within its sleek,...

Pros: Fast, Light, Loaded with features Cons: none significant
In my 6 years as a computer engineer I have gone through countless computers from thinkpads to Apple IIgs. For the most part, I was always disappointed by the performance of portable computers and never considered one for my purposes. That is until I...

Pros: See review for complete list Cons: See review for complete list
I feel that the best way to write reviews is by beginning with a list of what I see as the pros and cons of a product – if you want a quick breakdown just check it out, and keep reading the review to see me give a paragraph or two explanation on each...

Pros: Versatility, power, styling Cons: can lock up due to software
I use this for Mac and PC applications, digital camera and camcorder, and Airport. I purchased my PowerBook G3/400 mHz in the summer of '99. I've use it a lot for presentations with a video projector at conferences, and overall it's been a joy to have....

Pros: Quick, 6lbs, loaded, stylish Cons: Easy to confuse 1st/2nd models.
Apple Computer has finally constructed a housing worthy of the ghost that's in all their machines. The PowerBook G3 line has recently been revised, and whatever complaints anyone was able to scrape together about the first generation have been...

Pros: Sleek, beautiful, easy to use Cons: Could be a little lighter
This lap top is under $3,000. It well worth the money because even though it is a lap top it can be your basic computer. It does everything you need plus at good speed. You don't need that big MAC on your desk when you have this lap top.
I...
