Pros: Everything included to get on the net within minutes of unpacking. Cons: Price is high for entry level, but it's not an entry level computer.
When my daughter went off to college this past fall, she needed a computer to use in her dorm room. The college has a network throughout the dorms and classrooms so connecting to this was vital. In addition, it was important for her to be able to bring...

Pros: Fast enough for me, looks cool, rarely crashes, it's a Mac! Cons: LOUD, limited out/inputs, kind of big and heavy, small HD.
I knew what I was getting into when I bought this computer in December '99 so my complaints of limited HD space, inputs/outputs, and the size and weight were not exactly surprises to me (I do wish I had bought the orange instead of blueberry- mea culpa)....

Pros: speed, easy of use Cons: would like DVD player built in
I travel all the time on business and need a quality computer that I can take with me. I've had Powerbooks before and love the Mac platform, so the iBook was definitely the way to go for me.
This is a rock solid machine that has done very...

Pros: Rugged , ready-to-use, long battery life, PORTABLE DVD PLAYER, and oh-so-stylish..yeah, baby. Cons: Pricey, on the heavy side, disc tray unnervingly fragile, not enough RAM.
A month or so back, I was given a rather extravagant (I'm so spoiled ^_^) birthday present: my very first laptop.
I have a graphite iBook SE - 466MHz G3 processor, 64megs of RAM, 10gig harddrive, and DVD player. And I love it. It's durable...

Pros: This laptop is inexpensive with lots of features. Cons: An extra USB port and a slightly larger screen would help.
Having included some of the information about the iBook SE in another review I wrote here on the iBook, I still decided I needed to give the SE its own space.
Dollar for dollar, the new firewire iBook SE is the best portable Apple has ever...

Pros: solid durable construction, simplest OS you'll ever use, good conversation starter, does everything your computer does only with style, cheapest apple laptop, and if you've never used a laptop, imagine chatting form your couch, or writing an essay in a p Cons: All the drooling onlookers that want to touch it, a little to round to fit in some bags but if it doesn't fit, it probably wasn't as cool as the iBook anyway, dinky speaker good for little more than beeps and alerts,
In February, of this year, I turned 18. My parents bought me an iBook so that I can stay in touch, while I'm at college. I had had my eye on the little notebook for sometime, but had been waiting for a faster version to come out. When apple updated...

Pros: Nice features at a great price! Cons: No DVD available.
First of all, I had researched many laptops before deciding on this particular model. I had a very limited budget, and wanted to get the most for my money. I happened to come across this ibook in MacWarehouse for $1199.00 and I made up my mind right then...

Pros: Look and feel, Quality, Bright Screen Cons: Soft keys, little heavy, screen may get dirt, only 56 K internal modem
I have the Ibook for more then a year now. Before I had an LC and traded it for LC575 which is still working.
I have a 300 MHz power pc with 128 MB of memory, 56K internal Modem and x24 CD-ROM running apple system 9. I don't need to use...

Pros: Stable, reliable, sturdy, fast, and comfortable to use. Cons: Too big for use on a coach airline seat.
I've been using Macs since 1985 and I can say without reservation that this is the best Mac I've ever owned. Macs as a whole are known for their ease-of-use and reliability, but I think the iBook line epitomizes these features.
This is...

Pros: Yummy colors, a lot of space, great for trips and at home use! Cons: I wish Windows came with it!
The Apple iBook is the greatest laptop computer I have ever used. This laptop has more space than my computer at home! I can take it outside, on trips, or just use it in the office. The price suits the item, I don't know what better way to explain...

Pros: Internet Access, Its APPLE, Very Kewl Looking Design Cons: Hard Drive Space
I think that these computers look so super kewl. They seem to function very fast and efficiently and accomplish mostly everything that would deem necessary and appropriate to do with a computer. Unfortunately I don't have one yet so if any of you out...

Pros: See above. Cons: Pricy, but worth it. No infrared support. Few inputs aside from a single USB.
Not needing the extras included with the PowerBook (Firewire for DV Cameras), but needing a powerful portable computer, the iBook was an easy choice for my next computer. It has the rock solid OS 9 powering its G3 366 processor and an ample 6 gigabytes...

Pros: Excellent balance between features
,aesthetics and price. This is a no brainer-buy it! Cons: Keyboard is light-weight, somewhat
flimsy. Case may scratch easily.
Apple Computer had me when they redesigned the iBook case. The White case reminded me of the Beatles' "White Album" which was so refreshing when it came out (this is dating me)in the late 60's. Right out the box Apple's packaging is a thing of beauty. ...

Pros: Sexy enclosure, durable, AirPort-ready, loads of nifty features. Cons: Bad internal speaker, CD tray rattling, a wee bit heavy
The iBook is definitely one of the coolest pieces of computer equiptment that I've come across recently. As Apple's slogan goes, it's an "iMac to Go." More than a catchy line, this description sums up the iBook to a tee. In the end, this is a...
