Pros: Small, light, portable. Cons: Limited in the ability to have add-ons.
Well, this iBook may look cute with its colors, but it has a great deal to offer. With it's 300 MHz proccessor, it can make desinging a web page, or working with graphics, it's a well rounded laptop. It comes with 64 MB RAM, with is also upgradable,...

Pros: portable, efficient, inexpensive, CUTE!!! Cons: only one USB port, which is on the wrong side of the computer for a right-handed mouse user. Also, there's no room for an internal disk drive.
After three years of battling with my brother for internet access, this summer my parents shelled out some cash to purchase me a computer of my own. I did some research, and after determining what I wanted and needed in a computer as a college student,...

Pros: airport Cons: trackpad
My company recently purchase one of the Apple iBook, Imac and Base Station bundles for a 'mobile training unit' and have been quite please so far.
Speed. I disagree with other comments about the speed. I consider the performance adequate for...

Pros: Great looks, durable, wirelesss networking, and awesome OS. Cons: Heavy, small screen, needs more ram and bigger hard drive
Blueberry. That is the color of my Apple iBook laptop computer. Yes, I know I should say that is the "flavor" of my computer, and I guess that would be an apt description either way. I love the color, the look and especially the performance...

Pros: Durability, Portability Cons: Limited power
The iBook is a wonderful computer for a college student on a low budget. For only about $1,500 I was able to purchase my ibook (blueberry color) from MacZone.com. While the iBook is a good purchase for what I'm looking for it may not be the right thing...

Pros: Looks great, great graphics, great software package Cons: it's an apple
The future of computers the way I see it, is somewhat in trouble. The computer is a prime example of it. It seems to be selling on the amount of gadgets it has. Do you know what A "Analog Modulation Protocal" is? I surely don't. Anyway I don't...

Pros: easy memory access, wireless internet Cons: slow processor, small hard drive
The apple ibook is still not one of those (must have)laptops. It g3 processor is still rather slow, the 6 gig hard drive has been upgraded from 3 gigs, and the 64 mg of ram is rather tight. All of this for $1599 is pretty expensive a definitely is not...

Pros: Excellent graphics best I've seen, light and thin Cons: Overheats quickly, mouse sticks, poor keyboard, fast battery consumption, cluttered on the left, poor sound
As I write this opinion with my apple iBook I think to myself about the money I wasted. I thought this laptop was what I wanted and was looking for but it is basically useless to me.....for now anyway. I see all of these raving reviews for it but...

Pros: OS X: a sleek Aqua interface, stable Unix core, non-Windoze OS. Cons: Doesn't power up, need to reset the computer. Maybe specific to Combo Optical Drives.
Two weeks ago, I ordered the new Apple iBook directly from Apple's online store. Boy, was I excited: G3 500 mhz processor, 256 mb RAM, 20 gb HD, CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive... and it comes pre-installed with OS X, Apple's new OS and challenge to Linux and...

Pros: DVD, large Hard Drive, Cute Cons: Much too heavy for its capability, slow and small screen.
I purchased an Apple iBook expecting a lot. I work in design, as obviously do my colleagues who raved on and on about the "new Apple" industry. I was recommended the iBook. I expected something fancy, but did not get it.
Sure, it's cute....

Pros: Slow, freeze, no floppy drive, not compatible Cons: Cute, comfortably designed, beautiful 3D graphics
I bought the Apple ibook sometimes march this year and
unfortunately, I had to take it back and buy a HP 3250 Notebook PC instead.
I read a lot of information about ibook and thought it would be
a nice notebook to buy. However, I...

Pros: sturdy, handle, won't get lost in dark colored sand Cons: it would probably be better if it did get lost n sand
I have a considerable amount of experience with both Macs and PCs, and I
understand arguments from either camp, but I know of no one who thinks that an iBook is a good deal. First of all, the stats just aren't that good for a $1600 computer.
Plus,...

Pros: small, affordable Cons: OS9 is the worst
First and foremost, I love Apple computers. I grew up using them and have spent most of my school years defending them to my IBM-loving friends. Having said that, let me now say that my iBook was one of the worst purchases of my life. OS9 is a horrendous...

Pros: Unique design Cons: Seems to be lacking in power!
I'm not an owner of the iBook and I don't even own a laptop of any kind but I do sell computers where I work and I feel that my opinion should count for something.
When we get a new item into the department, I'm usually the one that sets it up...

Pros: Nice looking Cons: Small hard drive, trouble connecting to the internet, problems handling java and shockwave
The apple i-book is a very good idea. The idea behind it was to make an ultra-trendy light weight and functional notebook computer to catch the sales trend that was started by its sister product the i-mac. But, and it is a big but, this product wasn't...
