Pros: COLOR!!!!! Cons: A little pricey and a little heavier
Wow! The difference between grayscale and color is like night and day. Although I loved my trusty little Palm IIIxe, I secretly coveted the color-enabled PDAs. So, I finally decided to trade up, and what a difference there is! The colors on the IIIc...

Pros: Large memory, good display Cons: Terrible in sunlight
I purchased a IIIc because my school required us to get PDAs (specifically Palm OS) for classroom use. After using it for about a month and a half, I can say that I am happy with my purchase, but there are some things Palm could have done better. ...

Pros: great lightweight, intuitive pda. Cons: not durable enough.
I love my palm pilot, but I've found a major problem with it that I thought I'd share. It's not as durable as you may think. I haven't abused my Palm Pilot, but I do carry it around everywhere and stow it away in my bag frequently. This has led to a...

Pros: Light, 8MB of memory, COLOR!!!! Cons: none
This was one of the most useful gifts that I have ever received. I received it about 3 weeks ago and haven't put it down yet. I really liked the fact that the palm IIIc has the ability to play video. This is defiantly a plus for any movie lover. Games...

Pros: Small enough to put in purse or book bag, cover flip to protect screen Cons: none
Are you tired of using paper to write down all your appointments, to do lists and losing phone numbers? This hand held organizer is a wonderful invention to replace note pads and date books.
The palm III xe has everything you need to use in...

Pros: color screen Cons: Don't drop the unit. The plastic casing can't take the fall and if you don't have the extended warranty FROM PALM, it's not covered under warranty. If you have Outlook Express for your e-mail, you must keep Outlook on your system as well to access calendar
Although a good concept product, the cost is definitely outweighed by the cheap plastic outside casing. I purchased a Palm IIIc in April and bought the in-store extended warranty to accompany the mfg. 1 year warranty. Thought I was covered. What a joke!...

Pros: Great Used Cons: Old, Out dated
The Palm III was great, until Palm outdated it. Available now for a little higher price is the Palm IIIxe, Palm IIIe, Palm V, Palm Vx, Palm VII, Even though these are all more expensive- I would totally suggest these over the Palm III, now don't get me...

Pros: Cheapest color handheld on the market, awesome display, great battery life and sturdy casing. Cons: A little oddly shaped, no cover on hotsync connector.
I upgraded to a IIIc from a Palm m100 about 6 months ago. The m100 wasn't a bad handheld; actually, it was easier to hold than the IIIc and smaller. I just felt that the time had come when I needed color. I shopped around for an inexpensive color...

Pros: Great time management and data storage. Cons: Did not come with software for synch with Microsoft Outlook
I have had my Palm IIIe for about four months now. I had upgraded from a DaVinci PDA. For about $50 more I have email synch that I did not have and infinitely more applications that are compatible with the Palm.
Working in and office and not...

Pros: Interfaces to various office softwares and internet based products Cons: Poor service quality
For 2 years, my wife and I have become addicted to our Palm PDA's. We bought the technology early-on and paid the premium. In the last two months, both units have failed and Palm's Customer Service response has been, "they're out of...

Pros: Great organizer, great for college students, lots of programs Cons: A little bit big, no lithium battery, modem and keyboard are expensive
I must say I love my Palm. If you are a college student I would advise you getting a Palm. Not only is it great for keeping your assignments, for with a program that you can buy called Four.Zero you can’t only keep track of assignments, but also you can...

Pros: Small, Color, (Reminds me of a GameBoy) Cons: Price, gee they want $449 for this?
Well I have never been a big spender, and I always laughed at the goons who would go out and spend several hundred dollars on a Palm lllc but I recently entered a contest and won a Palm IIIC wow was I surpised. First of all Its color which is a big hit...

Pros: Color screen, memory, rechargeable batteries. Cons: Weight and size
I got the IIIC for work and it ended up being so much more. This device includes all of the standard PDA functions (mail, phone numbers, names, scheduling) in the easy to learn/use palm OS.
What makes this device so useful is it's color...

Pros: Easy to learn and use. Very useful device Cons: Problems with the touch screen
I bought my Palm III about two or two and a half years ago, and up until recently I have had nothing but praise for it. I live in New York City so when I move around I'm either using public transportation or walking so I try to keep whatever I am...
