Pros: Color Screen, Rechargeable Batteries, AC Adapter Cons: Need Access to a Computer to make it worthwhile
Again, I grabbed one of these from a friend who needed help learning about it. And again I will state, I am not an avid PDA fan, and I would highly recommend having access to a computer if you are going to buy one of these.
The color was...

Pros: COLOR, Plenty of memory (8 Megs), rechargable battery, and just easy to use. Cons: Expensive (if you don't know the secret)
Some say that the palm IIIc is too expensive. I would agree but it doesn't have to be! There is a place where you can find a great palm at a low price. eBay!
I bought mine there about a month or two ago. I bought it for $170!!! (and sold...

Pros: It does everything Cons: I can not think of any
The palm pilot is one of the best investments I have ever made. Whether it is the III, or one of the other models depending on your memory needs, this can handle everything. It is not just a calendar and memo pad - the notes section organizes all my...

Pros: Compact, sturdy, reliable. Cons: It's not a V. It's not black. No color screen.
I have the Palm IIIe. I love it. It's compact, sturdy, dependable and so far... resistant to scratches (my new cell phone could learn a lesson or two from it). The only problem is, I have Palm V-envy. Is it just me, or would anybody else like to see the...

Pros: useful Cons: outdated
Its outdated now. But its been pretty useful in keeping track of my schedule and phone numbers. It’s a productivity tool but too bad there a re few goods games for it. I've dropped my Palm 3 a few times, still works like new. Still its dimensions aren't...

Pros: Lots of software. Cheap. Easy to learn and use. Cons: Still has the old low contrast screen design. May not be enough memory for some users.
Considering the prices you can purchase this for, since the introduction of the new Palm models as well as Handspring, I would highly recommend this model. I have seen the Palm III for less than $100 at some office supply stores. For that price, you...

Pros: all your info is right in your palm! Cons: script takes a little getting used to
Even a technology rookie like me can get going on the palm format in no time flat! The sync for Macintosh is an extra and had some glitches in early versions...now, I love it! It seems to have an unlimited capacity for all my scheduling, phone info,...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Limited memory, poor screen
Having grown weary of 3x5 cards and a white coat with overstuffed pockets, I joined the PDA revolution in medicine and bought a Palm III. Almost immediately, I regretted not buying a PDA with more memory and a better screen, as the Palm III has only 2...

Pros: Color screen, Module port for digital camera and other accessories Cons: Very, very expensive
I live in the LA area, and therefore, highly influenced by glamour. I own the Palm IIIc, and seriously, the only reason to pay the extra cost for the IIIc, as opposed to the others, is for the color screen AND the module port, which gives the owner the...

Pros: Great all-round unit. Nice back-lit screen. OS upgradable unlike the IIIe. Cons: None to speak of.
I recently picked up a Palm III on sale at our local college bookstore. It was definitely a wise purchase. I've only had it for a little while, but I already can't imagine how I got along before having it. This little unit is wonderful I chose the...

Pros: Simple, Small, Relatively inexpensive Cons: -
This product is incredible. I have had one for the last four months and it has been invaluable. it performs all of the same functions that a day timer/ agenda can perform but faster. It's faster to get where you want to be. The best part however is...

Pros: SIMPLE TO USE NOT REAL EXPENSIVE Cons: NONE
Hi,
The palm IIIe is such a simple device to use.I primarily use it for the organizer part of it. I wish it had easier access to e-mail functions but that is not the main reason I bought this device in the first place. I am a mobile auto tech so i...

Pros: Great beginner's PDA. 8 megs is still a large amount of memory Cons: Heavier than most.
This was my first PDA. I really enjoy it and never realized how "necessary" it has become. It is a color model and that adds a nice alternative to those non-colored models. It has 8 megs of storage, of which 5 are now used up. I always thought PDAs...

Pros: Very sturdy and reliable, surprisingly good battery life Cons: Screen can become difficult to read in direct sunlight; no carrying case included
The Palm IIIc is the Palm haldheld that I currently use and continues to be my favorite Palm. I've never experienced any issues with battery-life, nor have I had any regrets over the '256 color' limitation or memory. (and I am a power user)
