Pros: Nice color display, light, easy to use, always back-lit, and it recharges quickly. Cons: See opinion field for cons.
The Palm IIIc is a great Palm to buy, it's easy to use, great color display, and long battery life (with normal use). As with all items, it does have its faults, but usually the problem can be resolved by calling the Palm Corporation. I would recommended...

Pros: Extremely portable, color, multipurposed. Cons: Couldn't it be 10 megs? Beaming is difficult because they must be alligned and close.
The Palm IIIc is an excellent machine. No matter what your use for it is there is always a use available. There are many medical related programs, games (for kids or bored adults), schedulers, different calculators, and much more. You can easily write...

Pros: It's an interesting toy Cons: too expensive, lacks important functions
Not only have I never owned one, but I've never operated a iiic. So, how can I review it?
Well, this review really isn't about the "bells & whistles" or features and benefits. Frankly, I have no idea how well they operate. ...

Pros: More memory, rechargeable battery, clarity Cons: Palm Technical Support Department
I was moderately happy with the Pal III and the V with the exception of how difficult it was to read in various lighting. A new difficulty for me was the limited amount of memory the two offered and the cost of upgrading. Granted, the IIIc is a bit...

Pros: lightweight, easy to use Cons: none
I have had my Palm III for many months and the memory is nowhere near 25% full. It has been a lifesaver for me many times. Although here are many more expensive models of PDAs out there, this little Palm III has been more that capable of holding all my...

Pros: Easy to use, inexpensive Cons: Not the newest model, for those who care
I know the Palm III is old news by now, but that means you can get it cheap! And it seems to me to do the trick.
Like all the Palms, it's wonderfully easy to use and there are tons of freeware and shareware programs out there.
The Palm III has...

Pros: Good for appointments, lots of memory, convenient size, handy resource, quick to find information. Cons: Input slow without keyboard attachment, accessories pricey. Not fully compatible with Outlook.
1/03 Updating this entry a second time. The Palm IIIC is better than I thought. What seemed like limitations at first turned out to be due to my inexperience and the our Network guy's unfamiliarity with Palm.
The Palm IIIc gives me easy...

Pros: Awesome operating system, easy to use, great for organizing, check e-mail from anywhere, affordable, easy backup Cons: needs more memory
I bought my Palm III about a year ago and have used it without any problems. I am a student and use it to keep all of my friends numbers, and all on my assignments and tests. I used to be forgetful, not remembering tests and quizzes until the last...

Pros: Small, convenient Cons: none
Let me first tell you how I stumbled upon this little piece of fun. I was at my friends Jazz concert and I was trying to get an address from some girl. To my dismay I had no more room in the address book. I did however get the address.
So I...

Pros: I love my IIIc. Cons: Doesn't have the Visor expansion slot
Well I bought my Palm IIIc in March right after the Comdex
held in Vancouver. I used to own one of the first Palm but it was stolen a year ago. I looked at all the models and I liked the IIIc the best I compared it to the Visor colour and I...

Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, convenient Cons: Easy to scratch screen
The Palm III that I currently own is the third member of the PalmPilot/Palm family that I've had the pleasure of using. I cannot imagine not being able to rely on my Palm III, as I use it more times than I can count every day.
Really the...

Pros: High quality, good memory and overall features Cons: Maybe a little over priced
For users looking to put a bit of color into their handheld world, the Palm IIIc is an excellent option. The bright, backlit display is large, clean and easy to read. The unit is a bit bulkier than other Palm devices, but to be honest, it's only...

Pros: rugged, light, easy to use Cons: none
I think this an excellent purchase for someone who is looking for the basic functionality of a PDA. I've had both the PalmPilot Professional and the Palm III. I definitely think that the Palm III is worth the extra money. It's added durability itself...

Pros: Intuitive to use some features Cons: No database software, lengthy tech support, desktop setup a chore.
In using the Palm III I found it to be generally intuitive to operate except in the areas of add on software. While 3 Com does offer some exciting after market software these are in my opinion mostly game and spreadsheets. No database software could be...
