Pros: Functional, cheap, easy to use, and perfectly intuitive Cons: None of the superduper perks found in higher models, like color, 24/7 email, etc
So I'm probably one of the most disorganized people I know, but when I actually sit and take the time to clean my room (about once a year), you could lick the floor. Until I got my Palm III, I swore by my dinky little $15 Casio PDA, with 92K memory, a...

Pros: Color improves visibility, more memory than earlier III models. Cons: Not wireless, but does it matter?
Short take: if you're a business user and not a game freak who has to load megabytes of games into a PDA, the IIIc is a great value for a color screen PDA!
The Palm IIIc is the color unit in the III series. Now that 2002 is almost gone, it's...

Pros: Beautiful screen, efficient, impressive battery life Cons: Pricey at $449
I've had the opportunity recently to try most of the PDAs out there and spend about 7 to 10 days with each. I have a Palm IIIxe that I love but I'm loyal only till something better comes along. Well, I have to admit that the IIIc IS better due to the...

Pros: Color screen, build-in rechargeable battery Cons: lots of defective units, battery drains fast, screen's low-resolution,
First things first: I was lucky enough to receive the IIIc nearly a year ago as a gift from a friend who himself won it in a contest... Now that you hate me, keep on reading the review to know everything about it ;-)

Pros: Great software, and the IR module is a dream come true Cons: Awkward flipping of the PDA, recieve isn't boosted
After buying my Palm IIIe, I stumbled across this small program called "OmniRemote" by PacificNeoTek. What it does is let you use the built in InfraRed port on the front of your Palm to control various electronics that you may have around the...

Pros: Crisp color screen, long battery life, 8 megabytes of memory available, almost completely stable software. Cons: Transfer station does not work with an expansion hub of any sort, a tad heavy for a PDA, ALMOST completely stable software.
I am not a very organized person. My desk at home is cluttered with CDs, free offers for things that expired years ago, random splotches of money, and odd computer parts that I inherited from someone. My life needs as much organization as possible,...

Pros: View is in color, large storage space, Cons: Rather costly at $400, Color is somewhat difficult to view in bright sunlight
I recently purchased my brand new Palm IIIc off of Ebay after the devastating theft of my Palm m100. After a large amount of use over the first month, I have come to the conclusion that I am quite impressed with my new PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)....

Pros: The best of all things Palm Cons: The priciest of all things Palm
Color wasn’t enough.
I was very satisfied with my Palm V. As a Palm user who first owned a Palm Professional, the Palm V was my third, and best, Palm experience: it had 2MB of memory (double the Pro); IR connectivity; a screen with ink-dark...

Pros: Too many to list Cons: none
Several years ago, I was with my family eating lunch at a restaurant in Boston. At the table next to us was a bike messenger, who was reading a magazine. At one point, he became interested in something in the magazine. He pulled out a small leather...

Pros: Well organized software, useful included utilities, lot of third-party software Cons: Hard to read display under certain lighting conditions, even when back lit
I bought my Palm Pilot Professional Edition on a whim really, without a clear understanding of what it could do for me, or how I would best utilize it. Now that I have had it for little over a year, I can’t live without it!
I am always like...

Pros: 2MB is sufficient for MOST users, good price Cons: Smaller models are available for more $$
I was one of those people. The ones that had EVERYTHING written down on little scraps of paper...I was a walking pile of ATM receipts, phone numbers and other assorted notes. When my job caused me to travel quite a bit, I was looking for a portable...

Pros: The colour display is cool, and easier to read than monochrome Cons: You might not be invited to the wireless party
The Palm IIIc is a curious animal indeed, as we will see in this review. It includes elements from the past and future, and as a result can be a bit confusing. But on the whole, after checking out all the Palms at Fry's, I decided to spring for it....

Pros: easy to use, portable Cons: breakable, memory, bulky
I was one of the first users in my company to try the Palm III early in 1998. At first, I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Here I had my Rolodex, and calendar at my fingertips where ever I went.
I quickly picked up the...

Pros: Light, easy, versitile, long battery live. Cons: Stylus is small.
There is a reason Palms dominate the market, they got it right. The Palm III had everything I wanted in an orgainzer, it is small, easy to use, and the batteries last forever (compared to the WinCE devices).
Being a gadget person the first...

Pros: Rechargeable batteries and THAT COLOR! Cons: Battery charge doesn't last more than a couple of days.
Okay, I admit it – when my husband bought me a Palm IIIxe handheld PDA for Christmas I was not too thrilled with it, to say the least. What in the world would I do with a PDA, for heaven’s sake? I’m not a Wallstreet Techie, I’m a mommie with seven...
