Pros: Size & Style Cons: Not in Color (Yet)
This is the third Palm PDA I have used and they keep getting better all the time. With its ease of use and sleek, sexy (in a pseudo-geek way) design, it is about the only thing I never leave home without. The thin, compact case also makes it almost...

Pros: Many features Cons: Price
My company allowed me to purchase a Palm V and expense it, which has been helpful for me when I do scheduling. I also like how games can be installed onto it, which can make the time spent on airplanes and car rides go quicker. One feature I don't like...

Pros: Useful, sleek, light, thin Cons: Expensive
I'd like to modify my initial review. After getting used to the graffiti and the features of my palm, it is quite useful. I used to carry a small notebook, but this is much more practical. Palm V is very thin and sleek and part of the reason for this...

Pros: small, sexy, fast Cons: quiet alarm, no spreadsheet
Before the Palm V I had a Psion 3a which I loved, but it was too heavy in my pocket and too slow to search through as it filled up. The Palm is a lot smaller, with a faster search. Syncing is also much quicker and easier, and the software you can...

Pros: recharge battery, small size, hot sync ability Cons: no wireless web available on this one
I love my Palm V. The rechargeable battery is the best feature, which allows it to be designed in a slim sleek manner. You never have to buy or replace batteries which is great. It fits in the smallest of pocketbooks for the ladies and in a shirt...

Pros: Price, Battery, Appearance, Universality Cons: Cost of accessories
Here's the nitty gritty on the Palm V. In the whole wide world of PDA's, in my opinion, you can't go wrong with the V. A little background first: I bought the Palm V back in January (2000), becuase my DayRunner just wasn't cutting it. It was big,...

Pros: Protects Palm Screen forever... maybe. Cons: None
like to abuse your palm when entering data? I do for sure. when I can't find my stylus or am too lazy to pull it out, I use a pencil or a fingernail to enter data, hit buttons, write with graffiti or the jot program. In a pinch I even used a paper clip...

Pros: Stylish and dialed - great way to stay organized Cons: None
THE QUICK AND LOW DOWN:
I LOVE my Palm V. All of the great benefits of the Palm technology in a super cool package. What did I do without this?

Pros: Provides much needed memory Cons: none
I recently purchased a memory upgrade for my Palm V from STNE Corp.. For those of you out there that bought a Palm V before the Palm Vx came out this upgrade is a great way to add needed memory to your Palm V. The whole process took about five days from...

Pros: size, display quality, weight Cons: protective cover, cost
The Palm V enhances the usefulness of the already popular Palm product line by offering a unit that's smaller, lighter and easier to use. Ease of use comes via a new display that practically eliminates the need for backlighting. The new metal case is...

Pros: expense reports that format nicely in excel Cons: if you are a visual person, the palm may take some getting used to.
I have already written an epinion on the Palm V, but there is one more thing that I am noticing now that I didn't notice before. If you are a very visual person, then the Palm Pilot series (or any electronic series) may not be the way to go.

Pros: Thin, light, easy, useful Cons: small memory
I actually received my Palm V as a gift, but since then, I have not been able to part with it. Anyone who has to keep track of their own day-to-day life would find the Palm V useful. It's ability to sync with a computer makes it especially useful for...

Pros: PalmVx, slime lightweight, useful convenient, good battery life Cons: Construction screens break because of design, poor customer service, limited expandability.
Everyone else has commented on all the good things about the Palm Vx, I agree with most all of them. But as good as Palm is there are problems after the purchase from the customer service side. First BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY POLICY you will need it,...

Pros: backlit screen, many available programs, synchronization with your PC Cons: You get tired of staring at that monochrome screen all the time
Palm is the pioneer of the PDA market and is the most trusted as well. When you first look at the Palm V, the first thing that you notice is the sleek metallic finish. The Palm V is the first to break away from the blocky black cases of current Palm...

Pros: size, weight, appearance, rechargeable battery Cons: still weighs down your shirt pocket
I used a Palm III for a long time, then switched to the functionally identical IBM WorkPad just to prove to people that the Palm platform really is supported by other companies besides 3Com.
Before the Palm V was available, I thought low cost...
