Pros: small, light, powerful Cons: high price for strapped consumer
In my opinion the Palm V is superior to other palm systems. Its price size and storage are matched by few to none the only drawback is the fact that it is not in color. The clarity of the screen is impressive along with an easy interface the system is a...

Pros: stylish, small, and light-weight; rechargeable Cons: none really, although wireless internet and color would be nice
I bought a Palm V last October. I saw the Palm V listed in so many magazines and advertisements for over $300, but let me tell you this, if you can't get it for less than $300, you are paying way too much. Personally, I don't think the Palm V is worth...

Pros: Great Shape and feel, great rechargeable battery Cons: Limited RAM from Manufacturer, but aftermarket options exist
The Palm V is thin and sexy with that metal case. It's solid and doesn't have the cheap plastic feel of the earlier models.
The built in rechargeable battery on the V is great, so it might make it worth the extra money over the Palm IIIe or...

Pros: It does everything Cons: None that I can think of
I purchased this item to make my daily in the field work as easy as possible. I have come to rely on this PDA more than I ever relied on my day-runner or other appointment books. This device is incredible and allows me to keep "all" of my...

Pros: Size, memory Cons: Memory instability
3Com's Palm V is worth the extra cost if you need it, as it has advantages found with few other PDAs. I have used one for three months now and its advantages of high memory and slim design are key. Looking less like a PDA than a credit-card case or...

Pros: Slim, Sleek, and Powerful Cons: Screen scratches
I absolutely love my Palm V. It is very small and slim. I think that is one of it's best features. Others in my office have Palm III's and Handsprings, but they always say how they like the fact that my Palm V is slim and sleek.
All...

Pros: small, a lot of software, fast Cons: -
Actually my topic is more about PDA's in general, but it should be a Palm V. The Palm V is very small and light, so it's easy for you to have your Palm with you.
An annoying sound keeps you up-to-date and lets you remember important dates...

Pros: design, basic functions, docking station, hot sync Cons: on / off button, data import (csv) not easy
I really love my Palm V, it is small, easy to use, has only relevant features, needs no battery change, is perfectly designed and very small. I only don't like to see this machine to turn on by itself, because the on/off button is not protected. As soon...

Pros: lightweight, very flexible, software Cons: screen legibility at times
I've owned the original Palm Pilot, a Palm III, and now the Palm V - this latest is hands-down the best for one simple reason: it actually fits in your shirt pocket without causing you to lean noticeably to one side. As for key features, it has more...

Pros: Sleek, back light Cons: Poor battery
Folks, I'll be honest. Everybody should have one of these. It's a great product - very sleek and user friendly. I like the new backlit screen - a significant step up from the Palm III. It's also very light and fits well into the pocket.
My...

Pros: functionality, looks, ease of use Cons: lack of ability to interface with Microsoft and Lotus Notes data
I purchased the Palm V for the following reasons:
*functionality--I don't have to carry around a cumbersome paper planner and since the Palm V is rechargeable, I don't have to be concerned about it running out of batteries at inopportune...

Pros: Well designed, great download feature Cons: No multimedia capabilities
Palm V has a nice design, is easy to carry, but unfortunately offers very limited valuable features !
Such features as :
- agenda
- address book
- memo
do not justify its high price since you can find them on every $20...

Pros: EASY, small, really works as advertised Cons: none
I recently purchased a Palm V and I wonder how I ever got along without it. This is the single most exciting product I've purchased besides my PowerBook G3. The Palm interfaces with my Macs very well (also with PCs). The 2 MB memory is more than enough...

Pros: Good weight, good size Cons: no color, no wireless modem
I went through a PalmV and handed it down to my girlfriend -- not enough memory. But the Vx is so much fun. with 8 megs I can do almost anything. Mostly play games, but the other features are very helpful to keep up with school work. When it comes...

Pros: Gives some protection for the price. Cons: For $39.99, you would expect a little more protection than this.
I purchased the Palm V (not very) Hard Case around March 2000 thinking that since Palm made it, it must be a good, protective case. I was wrong.
This case offers some protection, but when my Palm slid off my lap and fell about a foot or so...
