Pros: Print quality and speed Cons: Haven't found any...................yet.
I am impressed. With the work that I do, having a wide caridge to print my drawings helps me with my job. The print range from 300 x 600 to
2400 x 1200 makes every printing job perfect. Over the past 8 years I used an Epson for 2 years, HP 870 cse...

Pros: Price, quality, ease of use Cons: Format compatibility - issues with EPS files
I've been a graphic designer for 14 years, and i know a good printer when I see one - this is a good printer!
When I first installed this printer, and started pumping out a few test pages, I couldn't believe what I was seeing - this was...

Pros: Quiet, great photos, fast, good software driver, excellent HP support Cons: None if you have space for one!
I didn't plan to buy this when I went printer shopping. I was waiting for the much-touted DJ 990cse/cxi to hit the streets. When it finally did, I found the 1220C while scouring the web for vendors who actually had a 990 in stock. I compared the spec...

The predecessor of this model had Major paper feed and software problems that are documented in many other reviews.
After using the HP1220 extensively for several weeks, I have found some improvements, but overall this unit still does not have a...

Pretty good printer. Quiet but fairly large footprint so have plenty of desk space.
Excellent print quality especially for a printer that can handle larger prints 11" x 17"+.

Worth it

Pros: largest sheet size, common print cartridges Cons: slow first page, jams, frequent paper feed problems
This printer is not "Professional", despite its name. It is based upon the HP 45 and 78 main-line consumer cartriges, but does not perform quite as well as the smaller printers that use those cartridges. In trying to be "Professional", this printer does a lot more annoying printhead cleaning, so short print jobs take much longer. Mine also frequently jams paper, and frequently requires me to manually press the paper feed button just to print pages of a letter-sized document.
