    Mar 28, 2001 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Prints quietly, Good quality print jobs
Cons: Slow, hard to feed paper

Summary: This is what I often can be found saying to my Hewlett Packard LaserJet 6L printer at work. I am convinced "she" (the printer is too moody to not be a she) has a personality of her own, and hoards my print jobs, printing them out at whim. ... read more

  • The HP vertical feed strikes again

    Mar 22, 2002 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
    Pros: Fast, high quality printing
    Cons: Incredibly poor paper handling

Summary: As with the earlier vertical feed models of the Laserjet such as the 4L and 5L, the 6L fares no better when it comes to paper handling. You'd think HP would have had enough complaints in several years to make a feed system that works or scrap the who ... read more

    Pros: Reliable, inexpensive laser printer
    Cons: old

Summary: I purchased this laserjet 6l used about two years ago. It has been a great printer. After about 25,000 pages, I had to replace a part on the printer. It is the black plastic film that is inside. I bought the part online and paid about $30 for it. It ... read more

Cons: Not a good deal for the price anymore. Horrible drivers. Mechanical problems.

Summary: I originally owned a HP5L printer, which I purchased for about $500 early in 1995. Back then, this was an excellent choice for a home printer. It was incredible to find a Laser printer for under $1000. Especially one that was so small, and didn't use ... read more
