Pros: Cheap! Cons: Uses lots of ink, paper jams.
I was looking for a cheap printer for my second computer. I knew I wouldn't do a lot of printing and it didn't need to be prefect quality. I got the Lexmark 1100 for $35 after a $30 rebate. The cost of the ink cartridge that came with it is $30 to...

Pros: Cheap, small, easy to use printer program Cons: Recently acting up (program error), one cartridge slot only, recommend re ink kit.
About two years ago, I bought the Lexmark 1100 for a cheap amount of $99. At first it was the most luxurious type of printer at the time. Unlike these big room consuming printers, Lexmark 1100 was a small printer that took only a small fraction of my...

Pros: Price, Price, Price Cons: Poor speed and quality
I paid $20 for this printer. That right...$20.00. $70.00 sale price plus a $50.00 dollar rebate. I realize that that is less than one replacement cartridge is bound to cost me and trust me that I do keep in mind what I paid for this machine when...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Everything
I got my Lexmark 1100 as a gift well over a year ago. If I needed to print something everyday I would definitely go out and buy a new printer.
There are several things I see wrong with the Lexmark 1100 series.
First, lets...

Pros: Ease of use, cheap price, availability Cons: Cheap manufacture/is not durable, paper jams
I bought my Lexmark 1100 with my first computer. As with other reviewers, my reasons for buying it were: it was cheap and available. It has been a serviceable machine with its share of problems.
The one thing I never had problems with was...

Pros: Easy to use Cons: quality
We got this printer when we got the computer. We have had for about 6 months now. I am the own that uses it the most often. This is our first computer so we had pretty much no clue on how to do anything. I finally figured out that you can put more than...

Pros: inexpensive, doesn't take up much space Cons: bad paper feed, poor print quality
This is a very inexpensive printer that proves the old adage is true, you get what you pay for!
To start with, we have had frequent problems with the printer improperly feeding paper. It also will pull large amounts of paper through at the...

Pros: For a cheap printer, it will do an O.K. job, but that's all. Cons: The new "Compaq" and "Samsung" compliant cartridges don't work in it.
I bought the Lexmark 1100 Inkjet printer a couple years ago. It was my first. I bought it at Sun TV. A year later, Sun TV went out of business! Oh well. For a while, the Lexmark served my purposes.
How It Prints: Makes a lot of noise. Almost...

Pros: Cost Effective Cons: Poor Image Quality
The Lexmark ColorJet 1100 Is a very goo printer. It is affordable (Cartridges from $20-30). The printing quality could however be better, It has its times where it smudges. And that brings me to another point, When it finish printing you can't touch...

Pros: Price Cons: Not suitable for any work application
This printer is a dream if you are an occasional printer (i.e. mostly print web pages). I have also printed greeting cards and e-mails and it was great. Even the occasional photo showed up quite nicely.
It is simply not adequate for any...

Pros: great printer for the money Cons: paper feed annoying
A good printer for the money. I have seen these for as low as $50 after rebate and it is easily worth it. The print quality is amazingly good, while not quite as nice as a HP still very good. My one complaint is that the paper feeding mechanism does...

Pros: Price, speed, DPS, Quality Cons: It Lies To You
This is an excellent printer. I have had mine for about fifteen months now. The bad thing is this; It LIES to you!!! After printing for about four months, that is a lot of printing in my family, it said that our ink cartridge was low.

Pros: works Cons: not best quality, but ok
I bought this printer a couple of years ago because my old Cannon printer finally died. I chose the Lexmark 1100 because I was looking for a low cost printer, but it had to be a color printer.
This printer makes decent copies for the price although...

Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Jams easily, ink is very expensive
The Lexmark 1100 was the first printer I had for my computer. It started out great. The quality was very decent, and I was happy with the printing results.
However, the paper seemed to jam up quite often, or it would take through 2-3 sheets...
