Pros: Not bad quality for an older printer. Cons: Expensive cartridges, one cartridge, slow.
I have a Lexmark Color 1100 Inkjet Printer. It only has one cartridge, so you have to switch between black and white and color. Its paper tray is unwieldy, jams often, and is a pain to load.
The quality of the black is really quite good for...

Pros: easy to install cartridges, pretty cheap, pretty good printing quality Cons: very slow, loads one sheet at a time
Warning: This is the worst printer ever! This printer came with as part of the computer system that I bought and I should have been suspicious when I saw that they were offering so much for such a cheap price. Now I know, they would have probably paid...

Pros: inexpensive Cons: flimsy paper trays
I bought this printer as a backup to my laser printer and so that I can print in color if I want. I decided on the Lexmark 1100 because it was $79 and had a $50 rebate from Lexmark so it was the least expensive option. I have purchased a Lexmark 5700...

Pros: Price Cons: Speed, quality
I purchased this printer as a backup through a special offer from AOL. It ended up costing just the shipping. I have several printers connected to my home network and share them. For text and general printing I use a HP Laserjet, for large color jobs I...

Pros: Its cheap, on screen ink display Cons: its cheap and misfeeds a lot
They should have named the Lexmark 1100 a jammer and not a printer. Why? Because everytime I use this very lame printer it jams. Instead of taking in one page at a time it will eat three or four. Not to mention that half of the time this...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Poor quality, holds hardly any paper.
I purchased this printer because it was cheap ($89) and i had heard Lexmark was a decent brand. However it turned out i had made a huge mistake, after a few months of use this printer started printing fuzzy pictures even after aligning the cartridge...

Pros: Nice Color quality Cons: Takes forever, paper loading sucks
Ok, I know you can't expect a great printer when It comes with your computer, but gimme a break. This printer is worse then my HP black and white thing i got in like '92. The first, and worst, point is its paper loading. It seems that this printer is...

Pros: Good performance Cons: paper jams sometimes and expensive cartridges
I have had the Lexmark 1100 series inkjet printer for about eight months now, and I must confess that I am mildly pleased with its performance. I purchased this printer because it was part of a package deal with my monitor. This is a pretty good printer,...

Pros: Inexpensive, good printing speed and quality, easy to use Cons: Flimsy design, no cable included
My Lexmark 1100 cost me 49 dollars after a mail-in rebate. For fifty bucks, it has fufilled all my needs in printing documents, and the few times I have printed pictures they have come out in incredible quality for such an inexpensive printer. I had no...

Pros: Lightweight and basic, simple set-up, print software Cons: Inefficient and unreliable
In June of 1999, I purchased an IBM Aptiva. Included with my package deal was a Lexmark 1100 printer. If I had known about the problems this particular printer possessed, I would have upgraded it.
As far as print quality, the ink and lettering are...

Pros: Easy To Use & Setup, Not Expensive For Ink Jet Refill Cartridges Cons: None
I recently had to purchase a new printer for the one that died on me. I looked through many different printer manufacturers and this printer caught my interest especially since it offered a mail in rebate of $50.00. The printer is fairly inexpensive. I...

Pros: cost Cons: cost of cartridge, color fade, low quality prints
I got the Lexmark 1100 with the PC when i bought it. It is not a bad printer, and is easy to use...but there are some quality problems. The colors are not true and the quality of the pages printed is not the best. Blue comes out pretty purple and there...

Pros: Inexpensive, good for infrequent use Cons: Slow color printing, low quality
When purchasing my first computer system I was bogged down by all of the decisions. There is one decision I wish I could change, and that is the printer that I picked. Sure, my original thought was that I needed to save money at any place that I could....

Pros: LIGHTWEIGHT, EASY TO USE, GREAT PRICE & VERY GOOD COPIES Cons: A LITTLE SLOW ON COLOR COPIES
We already have a NEC SuperScript 660plus printer for the past 2 years and have been perfectly content with the item. Only problem was that it did not do color copies only black & white. When I saw the Lexmark products on sale, we decided to...
