Pros: stinkin' FAST!
Cons: software does have a bit of a learning curve.

Professional scanner at consumer prices

Pros: Fast, clear high-quality scans
Cons: Expensive
Last year I was in the market for my first personal scanner. Being a graphics designer by profession I demand high visual quality.
