    Pros: Firewire connection; Decent scanning quality
    Cons: Just as slow as USB scanners; Rudimentary software/drivers

    Pros: IEEE1394 connectivity, not only for the scanner. N.B. NOT only for the MAC!
    Cons: Button assignments don't always work, feels & looks flimsy

    Summary: If you are looking for excellent quality results from a scanner, this one is not for you. For a "home use" scanning where superb results are not the aim, then by all means this scanner is ideal. The main selling strength, and my reason for ... read more
