Pros: Sound quality, volume control, price Cons: Only two speakers
I purchased the Cambridge Soundworks PCWorks speaker system two years ago, hoping that its output would justify the $75 I exchanged for it. Needless to say, it was one of the best upgrades I have ever made to my computer system. The PCWorks delivers...

Pros: Great Value, Good Sound Cons: Won't replace a home stereo
When I bought my computer, it had those cheap, hollow-sounding speakers that reminded me of communicating over a string between two tin cans. I had to upgrade them, but after buying my computer I was looking for a bargain, and after reading many reviews...

Pros: awesome sound, great price, small Cons: none
These speakers are hooked up to my PC's sound card in my home-office which is about an 8X10 room. These could perform just as well in a room twice as big. I have nut fully crancked the volume yet as it has not been necessary, at 40% volume the bass is...

Pros: Excellent value, portable, awesome sound, simple Cons: None
When I was building my second computer I was unsure of what speakers I should use. I asked my cousin’s advice and he suggested that I demo the Cambridge SoundWorks line of speakers. At the store (which by the way is basically a showroom for all the...

Pros: Amazing value! Cons: Absolutely None!
In reading other peoples opinions of these speakers, I cannot believe some say the bass is lacking. For the price I would not expect to be hearing 20HZ! Let's just say, it blows the pants of most original equipment speakers hands down!!!! And most other...

Pros: Good quality for low cost, reliable. Cons: Bass is hit-and-miss, wiring could be better.
I should start off by saying I have two sets of PCWorks speakers attached to my system, and these speakers weren't really designed for that. But...if you happen to have the Montego II Quadzilla and were wondering about these speakers and four-way sound,...

Pros: Good value Cons: Not for listening to music
This speaker set tends to get rave reviews, mostly for its very good price/performance ratio. Unfortunately, I've seen some reviewers get carried away, and praise it excessively. Maybe they read the text on the box, and mistook marketing hype for...

Pros: Great bass, crisp sound, very inexpensive Cons: Amp can highlight imperfections of low-quality sources
I purchased the PC Works at a computer show recently to replace the $5 specials that came with my PC. The PC Works is a two satellite/subwoofer package designed by Henry Kloss (founder of Advent, KLH, and Acoustic Research before founding Cambridge...

Pros: Ok sound easy to use & hook up, cheap. Cons: volume limits, hard to reach controls, subwoofer not needed greatly
This is my first review on epinions so be kind!
I bought these speakers for about $40 at a local street store and was after some sound as my previous speakers were a bit broke.
Opening the box you get
-two small speakers

Pros: Excellent value, great sound for the price, renders subwoofer-less systems obsolete. Cons: don't expect too much from a $50 speaker set, power button inconvenient, finicky volume control.
While this set isn't the most powerful and doesn't have the latest features, this is you bread and butter speaker set with a surprisingly good sound. Expect to pay about $40-$50 on these speakers. Nothing in this price range even comes close except...

Pros: Great sound, beautiful sound distribution, excellent bass output, low price. Cons: Needs it's own power source...separate outlet.
I was looking for a small speaker combo w/a subwoofer to bring out the sound that came from my laptop. After purchasing the Cambridge Soundworks PCWorks speakers, my laptop created a whole new personality for itself! Before the PCWorks speakers, I...

Pros: Easy set up, Excellent sound Cons: Can't buy more "just tweeters"
I knew I needed to upgrade from the $20 pair of speakers I currently owned. I did some sound testing research at the local computer stores listening to whatever they had available. I knew I wanted a three speaker set up and was mostly interested in sound...

Pros: Inexpensive, great sound, small Cons: Large power adapter.
These speakers are small. The package comes with attachments to mount the speakers on a wall or mounting tape to attach to a monitor as an example.
Aside from the the attachments and size, let's get down to what everyone wants to know. The...

Pros: VERY bad sub distortion Cons: Low price...but NOTHING else
I bought these speakers mostly because of the low price, but also because I couldn't find any really negative reviews...this was a mistake. These speakers are NOT worth the money I paid for them (which was only 38.97). I don't know what I expected from...
