  • Cares more about the bottom line than the customer

    When it works it works.  You get more email addresses than you could possibly use.
    Cons: Horrible customer service. 
    Billing issues are impossible to fix

    Pros: This company has no pros that I can think of. 
    Cons: Internet constantly out. Long waits for technical assistance.RIDICULOUS trouble shooting - turn modem off, etc.

    Pros: With no other options and a phone modem you'll at least have a slow connection.
    Cons: Dying company that cares more about $3.95 than 10 years of business.

    Pros: I was a customer who needed no help for 8 years.
    Cons: Once I needed help, forget it.

    Pros: Cheaper than some, 8 email addresses, web mail and dial-up in a pinch
    Cons: Untrained, unhelpful tech support with poor customer service, handling of YahooGroup posts and DNS redirecting

    Cons: If you have a service outage, you're on your own, mate.

    Pros: Lots of time for new hobbies while letting the computer repeatedly try to connect.
    Cons: Frequent disconnects, lag, tech "support" and customer service are hard to understand and completely unhelpful.

    Pros: I have learned a great lesson: avoid Earthlink at all costs.
